As Aelia got up in the morning, she looked at Meredith who was sleeping next to her. Her eyes were still puffy from crying the previous night and there were dark circles under her eyes.

Last night, after crying a lot, Meredith packed a bag and left with Aelia, as the dark-haired woman didn't want her sister to be alone and she definitely didn't want Meredith there if George came back.

They got back around 3 AM. Luckily the kids were still sleeping soundly in the living room. So after changing into their PJ's the girls fell asleep right away.

Aelia sighed at the sight of her friend but got out of bed and into the bathroom, letting Meredith sleep more. The first thing she did was wash her face of the tear stains she knew would be there, using her CeraVe face wash to gently get rid of the dry tears.

Her mind couldn't help but travel back to last night. George had no right saying anything like that to Meredith, no right at all. Just because he was an insecure little boy, who couldn't get laid, doesn't mean he can take it out on Meredith just because she's actually living her life with someone who Aelia trusts.

Dylan is a great guy, and she truly believes him and Meredith can have a future together if they both put in the work. Aelia sighed drying her face when she heard movement from her bedroom before Meredith walked in, rubbing her eyes.

"Hey" Aelia smiled throwing her washcloth in the laundry bin "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, Ali." Meredith smiled a little before sighing "Can we, you know, just keep this between us for now? I don't want to deal with this right now." Meredith begged a little.

Aelia wanted to deny her, she wanted to go into work and beat the hell out of George, tell him to watch who he talks to like that, but she didn't want to make this harder for Meredith "Sure" Aelia agreed "Whatever you need."

In the locker room, the interns watched Meredith and George getting dressed in silence. "There's something going on, I mean, look at them," Izzie commented. Aelia looked at them for a moment, Meredith was just trying to get dressed as quickly as she could while George tried to get her attention.

As Cristina and Izzie approached the two, Alex sat next to Aelia "What's wrong?" He asked with a frown. Aelia shook her head quickly, tying her shoes "Just keep me away from George today."

"Okay" Alex agreed without hesitation "Why, though?"

"Because I will punch him if left alone with him"

Alex blinked. What the hell did George do? He thought. Aelia wasn't one who would threaten to punch someone for no reason. He knew his sister knew how to fight, it was pretty obvious, but Aelia didn't fight often. Only when someone she cared about was in trouble.

George must have really messed up with Meredith if Aelia wanted to punch him.

The two turned towards their friends when they heard a locker slam shut and they watched Meredith storm out. Aelia huffed, got up out her seat and walked after Meredith. As she passed, Cristina, Izzie and George, the dark-haired woman, didn't hide the glare she threw George's way.

"Dude, what the hell did you do?" Alex asked when Aelia was out of the room. George huffed "I don't want to talk about it" He snapped

At rounds, the group of interns entered a little boy's room, a case Aelia was working on.

"Do you need to throw up again? Cause there's no shame in needing to throw up." One of his dads told him. The kid rolled his eyes "Dad, I don't need to throw up" The kid said. Aelia stepped forward smiling at the family before she started presenting
