AS nodded grumpily

HM: aap bhi na, bilkul bache hai (saying this HM kissed AS's forehead making him bend a little while AD blushed)

HM: dekho toh kon blush kar rha hai abhi

AS smiled and went from there

HM: pagal hai pure😂

Soon KS settled and started studying after discussing with HM. HM was in the kitchen and AS was watching television

After a while HM came out of the kitchen almost yelling while wiping  her hands with a towel

HM: Anuu volume Kam kariye, Karu padh rhi hai na...

HM was shocked to see the sight in front of her...

KS was sitting on one of the chairs on the dining table with a book in her hand while her full concentration was on the show being played in the television and KS was frowning because probably the player she was supporting was losing the match.

But as soon she heard HM's voice she looked at AS with a tensed face

HM (sternly): Karu🤨

KS: j... ji bhabhi

HM: yaha kya kar rhi hai aap? Padhne bola tha na humne aapko?

KS: padh hi toh rahe hai na hum bhabhs, ye dekhiye (saying this KS lifted her book a little, showing it, acting as the most innocent person)

HM: aise? TV ke samne?

KS: hum... nhi bhabhi, hum kaha TV dekh rhe hai? Vo toh Bhaiya dekh rahe hai

AS glared at KS for putting him under the bus but KS being KS just passed a mischievous smile to him

HM: acha

Then a sound of applause came from the TV while a man doing commentry declared: And here goes another point to Player B

This grabs both AnuShma's attention to it while AS frowns and KS grins

KS (excitedly stood up): dekhaaa dekhaa... bhaiyaa boonn👎👎 dekh lena, jeetega toh Player B hi 😁😁

AS: abhi na match baaki hai behna, jeetega toh Player A hi

They were putting their opinions completely forgetting the lioness fuming there in anger until KS was pulled by her one ear and dragged towards HM, by HM herself

KS: aaiii, bhabhs lag rhi hai...

HM: ye padhai kar rhi hai aap? (Asked HM leaving her ear)

KS: bhabhs hum sach mei padh rhe the, ye toh bas abhi dhyaan chala gyaa, TV ka volume jo tez hai, hainaa bhaiya? (Replied KS, rubbing her ear)

AS: aisa kuch nhi hai

Another sound of applause caught their attention

KS: kiska point hua?

This time KS got tapli on her head by HM

HM (glaring at AS): Anu🤨

AS hurriedly got hold of the remote and muted the TV being well aware of her Patni Ji's anger

HM: band kariye

AS: kya?

HM: jii, TV band kariye

AS: areh par priye hume toh dekhne dijiye na, humari kya galti hai

HM: aapko ye dikhai nhi di idhar book leke baithe hue?

AS glanced at KS and nodded in agreement

HM: toh aap ise andar nhi bhej sakte the?

AS (mumbled to himself): ab kya bataye, humne toh kaha tha isse, ye sunti kidhar hai, shaitani chadhi hui hai isko, ye agar humne bata diya toh kya haal hoga behna ka, huh

HM: boliye!

AS: hum vo, chodhiye na... abhi bhej dete hai, Karu, andar jaa ke padho, idhar TV chal Raha hai na...

HM: koi TV nhi dekhega, aap band kariye ise

AS: areh yaar

HM: Anu😑

AS irritatingly switched it off and returned to his room not before giving a glare to KS

KS: ji bhabhs

HM: padh rahi thi na ab tak?

KS nodded slightly

HM: bas? 🤨 (asked HM glancing at the clock to figure for how long has KS been studying)

KS even glanced at the clock

KS (in mind to herself): shitt, ye toh 1½ hours ho gye hume padhte hue... 1pg toh bohot Kam Hai us hisaab se, badha se Karuu, fir jo baad mei hoga, dekha jayega...

KS: bhabhii

HM: 🤨

KS: and second bhi ho gaya hai... matlab, 2 pg ho gye hai.. hum aise aa rhe the (doing the iconic step)

HM: acha🤨

Seeing HM glaring, KS continued with her lying saga

KS: aur third page bhi shuru kar diya hai humne

HM: acha..

Said HM looking into KS, having a deep eye contact, while KS avoided having one. Although she could clearly feel her bhabhi's glare, which she assumed to be for studying in front of the TV, while it was being played.
