"Damn." You groaned, finally taking in a long, deep breath, feeling your lungs expand to their full potential as you began to remove the more uncomfortable accessories from yourself. Despite all the physical labor and frustration from retakes, you couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly excited. you dashed to your dressing room, skipping and dancing slightly before bursting through the door. "THAT. IS. A. WRAP!" you shout musically to a very sleepy-looking Angel before giggling lightly. "Come see, come see." I plop myself down on the couch close to her and gesture toward my phone.

As you scrolled through your camera roll, revealing some shots that you got with your co-stars and silly in-between-the-scenes photos, you sighed contently and turned to face the beautiful girl in front of you, suddenly becoming hyperaware of all her features and just how grateful you are to have a friend like her. Taking in her beautiful black box braids, and her melanated skin, and appreciating how long she's been by your side.
"These are beautiful stink! How long you did your scenes for?" She questioned, rubbing her eyes and gently shaking off the remaining sleep that resided in her.
"Not that long, it's not my main moment yet. I had maybe 4 shots today, but we did a SHIT ton of retakes. So it took a lil' longer than expected. You hungry mama? I know you are cuz you been sitting here all day. Thank you for waiting for me." I express, already knowing the answer to my question. I had spent a total of fifteen hours on set, and being in a total of twenty-nine scenes. Granted, for most of them I was just in the background or talking to the protagonist of the show, but damn did they drain me. "C'mon get your stuff we finna get some food or something." I continue, pulling out my phone and immediately seeing a reminder to text the boy from the bodega.
