The following week flashed before my eyes seemingly overnight, and It was almost time for the first episode of 'Transcending Beyond' to air. At 9 PM Eastern, not a minute later.

"HURRY UP C'MON" I frantically shouted at Miles as he was running to my house. I called him not even three minutes ago and insisted he come over so we could have a lil' watch party to celebrate. I yelled at the screen for him to 'run faster' as there were only seven minutes left until the episode dropped. I ran around the house so I could make the living room extra comfy for the next 45 minutes, placing down snacks, extra pillows, a plush blanket, and a small charcuterie board to enjoy during the show. I snapped a quick flick of the living room before returning to shouting "GO GO GO!" at Miles through laughs.

I hear my front door swing open as Miles hangs up the phone, standing in my doorway panting like he's about to die

I hear my front door swing open as Miles hangs up the phone, standing in my doorway panting like he's about to die. He wheezes two times before getting up and yelling "I MADE IT!" doing the rocky pose.

"Bro think he rocky." I joke as I turn on the projector, connect it to my computer and wait for the new episode cover to load onto Netflix.

"I just raced here at ungodly speeds. Nearly got chased by cops, fell on the ground twice, and climbed a building to be here early cuz someone forgot what time it was. Don't start with me lil' girl." He said as a smirk etched itself onto his face.

"yeah, yeah, shut the fuck up. Thank you though!" I joke as Miles gives me a small hug, plopping himself down on the blanketed floor. "Not you gettin' a whole...char-choo-choo-rie board for this."

I burst out in loud laughter, clutching at the soft velvet of the ivory couch. "Not you sayin' char-choo-choo-rie! C'mon, Char-Chu-Ter-Rie."

   "Char-chu-ter-rie..." He mirrors slowly.

"Yes, much better. But I did. And what? You gon' cry?" I roll my eyes. "IT'S OUT!" I yell at the top of my lungs, clicking the title and forcing my attention to the projected version of the show.

Miles begins to form a rebuttal, but quickly stops when he notices the illuminated wall.
