Riley's POV:
I smoothed out my purple dress, making my way into the party. I held West's gift in my hand, a pair of Swedish clogs! I knew he loved Sweden, and that he'd wear anything even if it looked goofy, so I thought these would be cool. I walked over to him. "Hey, West. Happy Holidays!" I said, smiling. "Thanks, Riley!" West opened the bag. "Woah, Swedish clogs! Tack , min kära Struts. That means, 'Thank you, my dear friend', in Swedish!" West informed me. "Uh huh...well, I'm gonna go find my gift giver!" "Oh yea, I think I saw Giselle with Thalia in Studio B. See you later!" He said, walking off. I made my way to the music room, chuckling. My uncle was Swedish, so I knew the language a bit. West had actually just said, "Thank you, my dear Ostrich.", but I knew he meant well. I arrived at Studio B, where Giselle and Thalia were talking to Sarah, a B Trouper. "Oh, Riley, you're here!" Giselle greeted me. Then she pulled out a small box. "Happy Holidays!" "Thanks, Giselle!" I said, opening it. I gasped. Inside was a beautiful silver necklace, with ballerina shoes on them! There was even a bit of purple, so it matched my dress. Therefore, I slipped it on, Giselle doing up the clasp at the back for me. I just stayed there and chatted, when suddenly, Emily came bursting in. "Riley, I'm leaving, could you please get a lift home?" She asked, on the verge of tears. "Are you sure Em?" I asked. She sounded upset, and I wanted to help her. "Yea, I just need to be alone right now." She said, walking out. "Don't worry Riley, you can get a ride home with me." Giselle offered, and I thanked her. But I wasn't even worried about that, I was worried about Emily.
