EMILY'S POV:

WARNING: THIS CHAPTER INCLUDES MULTIPLE POV CHANGES

It was after rehearsal at dance, and everyone had either went home or went down to Squeeze. But I had stayed behind to practice some tap moves. I wasn't very good, but out of all my bad styles, I'd say this was the easiest for me to practice. I was about to start my routine again, when Michelle walked in! No! No, no, no no no no! I had managed to avoid her all day during dance, why was she still here?! After the incident with Eldon (whom I had also avoided today), I needed to stay as far away from Michelle as possible! The longer we were apart, the faster the feelings would start to fade! Like with Leila...

"Can we talk?" Asked Michelle, interrupting my thoughts. I gulped. "Uh...sure."

MICHELLE'S POV:

Okay, now that Emily agreed to talk, "Operation Make A Move" was a go! Phase one, let her know that she can trust me, and that I care about her. "So, Emily...first off, I just wanted to let you know that I'm glad we're friends now." I started off. "Me too." She said, looking a bit confused, but curious at the same time. "So...um, I know we've only been friends for like, 5 seconds, but there's something I want to talk to you about. Can I trust you with it?" I asked. Emily slowly nodded. "And you know you can trust me with anything too?" I asked. She nodded again, a bit slower this time. Phase 1, complete! Phase 2, bring up the subject of...well, of LGBT. "So, my...uh...cousin. She visited...a couple of weeks ago, and talked to me about something...serious." "Okay..." Emily looked at me questioningly. "She...well, she said that she was developing a...crush." Emily nodded again.

EMILY'S POV:

Michelle was being really weird. What was she trying to get at here? "And well...this...crush, she...isn't comfortable with it." Michelle told me. Why the heck was she coming to me with this?! I asked her this, but in a much nicer way. "Well, you're the dance captain, so I figured you'd be a good problem solver?" Michelle answered, but it came out as more of a question. "Okay, well, maybe you should talk to your mom about this or something?" I asked. I wasn't trying to be rude, but this was all just too weird. What was going on here?

MICHELLE'S POV:

"Okay, screw this." I said. Forget the plan. New approach; be blunt. "Emily, I know how your date with Eldon went." I started with. Emily looked a bit taken back, but slowly nodded. This was true. Riley had told me on the phone this morning. And I was gonna use it to my advantage. "Emily, I know what really happened." Riley and I had put two and two together. Emily was acting around Eldon, and a candlelit dinner would be a hard thing to act through. It was clearly too hard for her. "Trust me, I can relate." I said. "To being sick?" She asked. "Emily, I know you weren't sick! Okay? Please stop pretending around me." I said. "You. Can. Trust. Me."

EMILY'S POV:

I had no idea what to do. Did Michelle really know what happened? There was only one way to know for sure. "Okay, then can I trust you to answer this honestly?" I asked. She nodded. "How much do you like Eldon? For real?" I asked. Was there a chance that Michelle didn't like boys? And...was I happy about that possibility? Yes. Yes I was. And for once, I wasn't denying it. "I don't. I used to, but not since the holidays. I've been pretending since then." She told me. So she had also been pretending! But she had liked Eldon before? This was all confusing. But for some reason, I trusted her. She had the guts to admit that she had been pretending. So I trusted her. "Okay. I trust you. So tell me. What do you think happened on the date?" I asked.
"You have feelings for someone else, and they got the best of you." She answered.

MICHELLE'S POV:

Yes! She trusts me! "How do you know that?" She whispered. I couldn't throw Riley under the bus. So I told the half truth. "I can relate to the feelings." I whispered back. Emily started to tear up. "Hey, don't cry." I said, tilting her chin up to look at me. "It's okay. You can trust me. I cross my heart you really can, Em." I told her. I wiped a single tear away. "I'm gay." She whispered. "I know."

EMILY'S POV:

And then, she kissed me. It was magical. It was amazing. It was perfect.

AMANDA'S POV:

And, it was saved to my camera roll.

OMG 817 words! Yay, new record! This is my new favourite chapter for sure! And I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna lie, I pat myself on the back for that ending😈

Next chapter teaser: Next chapter will be in a "Secret POV", so we won't know who has it. Has what you ask? Amanda's phone. How'd they get it? Well, it was just an accident. An accident that could turn out to be disastrous.
