Michelle's House: The First Night

Emily's POV:

I rang the doorbell to Michelle's house, Riley right behind me. I haven't had time to really process what just happened yet, and I know when I do, I'll cry. A lot.

"Emily!" Exclaimed Michelle, the door swinging open. She quickly pulled me into a hug. "Thanks so much for letting us stay here." I said, hugging her back. "Of course! Come in, come in!" She replied, leading me into the house. Riley followed.

"This is my mom, Christina, my dad, David, and you already know Imogen. Oh, and that's my cat, Prince." Michelle introduced us, and there was a series of hugs and hand shakes. "You stay as long as you'd like dears." Michelle's mom - Christina, told us. "Thanks you." I said, and then Michelle led us upstairs. She opened the door to her guest room, which I'd only been in once, when Michelle had lost her phone. We'd found it in the fridge! To this day, she swears she has absolutely no explanation.

"You guys will have to share a room, is that okay?" Michelle asked. We both nodded. "Of course!" I answered. There was a bed and a pull out couch. "I'll leave you guys to unpack." She said, before walking out.

RILEY'S POV:

"You can have the bed, Em." I said. She was the one going through the toughest time right now. "Thanks." She said, hopping on. Besides, she would totally end up sneaking to Michelle's room in the middle of the night, leaving it available for me to sleep in anyway!

8:00am THE NEXT MORNING...

Dear Diary,

So, I'm now writing in you from Michelle's house. See, Em came out to out parents, and it...er, didn't go too well. Michelle's coming out did go well though, so now we're staying here. It's our first morning, and so far, it's been a pretty good experience. Christina made a delicious casserole last night, and then all of us played Mastermind!! It was all super happy until about 1:00am. Just as I suspected, I awoke to find Em's bed empty. After gladly moving over to it, I heard crying. it was coming through the walls, from Michelle's room. It was Emily - and she was sobbing. It was bound to happen, but I guess I just...didn't want it to. I heard Michelle comforting her too. I'm glad Em has her. But the sobbing just continued, and it was just...heartbreaking. Then I started crying too, and I guess I fell asleep that way. hopefully today will be better. I'll write in you again tomorrow morning!

Hi Candies! So, sorry this chapter was short, but that's only because there's ANOTHER chapter being posted tomorrow - The 2015 Holiday Special! Even though I don't celebrate, it will be Christmas themed. Once again, it'll be a flashback, since the story timeline is in like early February or something?

Also, the next few chapters will be things like "Michelle's House: The Second Night", or "Michelle's house: Night 3, 4, & 5". So like a mini series of diary entries throughout their first week at Michelle's house!
