I know this is like my 5th author's note in a row, and I apologize, but this is truly important.
This weekend...well, this weekend was a really sad one, wasn't it?
First of all, RIP to Christina, a young, kind girl with so much talent. It's truly a shame - it's unfair - that she didn't get to grow into the amazing singer she was destined to be.
Second of all, RIP to all those killed in the mass shooting in Orlando. This one really hit me hard. So many lives lost, so many potential bright futures destroyed, so many families, friends, and people in pain, all because some people were different?
Yeah, that one...that one really messed me up.
Feel free to start discussions, share your thoughts, etcetera in the comments. I mean, this is an LGBT book, so I know all of you wonderful readers support the community, and I can imagine that at least a couple of you are pretty shaken up too.
