Riley's POV:

I finished brushing my hair, and took a step back to admire myself in the mirror (outfit attached to chapter). James was coming over today, and I needed to look my best for my boyfriend! I heard the doorbell rig and squealed like a fifth grader, but took a deep breath and opened the door calmly.

"Hi!" I said, hugging him. "Come on in." James followed me in, and we sat down in my living room. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, seeing as he had a sad look on his face. "My family..." He started, looking like he really didn't want to say whatever it was he was telling me. "We're...we're moving." He finished, and I gasped, immediately hugging him. "When?" I said, a little above a whisper. "...One week." I jumped back.

"One week?!" I cried. "Look, Riles, I only found out about it a couple days ago, and I wanted to tell you in person. That's why I asked to come over today." "Wait...you only found out a couple of days ago?" I asked. I had assumed he had been hiding it from me...but it had been hidden from him? "My parents didn't tell me until then, that's when the decision became official. They've been trying to avoid moving ever since they found out they might have to a few months ago. It's my dad. He got offered a job in Michigan, and my parents can't find a job that pays as well here. We have no choice." He said, and I cried, hugging him again.

"What's gonna happen to us?" I asked. "Riley, you know I love you. You know I do. And that's why we can't do long distance." The tears started coming faster. "If we do, it will end in bigger heartbreak. We'll start meeting other people, being too busy to video chat, having events like prom and not being able to go together..." I nodded. He was right. I just didn't want him to be.

"So...this is goodbye?" I asked. Tears started forming in his eyes too. Him, Mr. Don't-Even-Worry-About-It, was going to cry...over me. This is my first break up, and now I know that I'll always proudly be able to say that it was with a guy who really, truly loved me. "It is." He said, and we hugged for a long time. Eventually, he pulled away. "Riley?" He asked, crying a bit now. I nodded, ready for it. "I'm breaking up with you." He finally said, and I nodded, still crying, as we hugged one last time, and he left.

I needed someone right now. I picked up the phone to call Em, but I remembered that she was with Michelle - which also eliminated Michelle herself. I couldn't call Chloe anymore...why does this feel so familiar? Oh, right. Well, it worked last time, so might as well try it again.

Did you catch that reference to the "Truth or Dare?" chapter? So, the last few chapters have been spent building up the Amiley story in peepers action for the sequel. But this isn't the sequel - this is about Michemily! So, now the focus will be back on them!

Next chapter teaser: Michelle and Emily both come out to their parents. That's right, two POV's in one chapter! How does it go? Well, let's just say; different POV's, different outcomes.
