Dad took me to the meeting.

I'm so excited

We enter and i lock my hand with Dorians cause i knew he was just as nervous as i am.

When Niko saw us, his eyes widened "Dad, what are Myers and Dorian doing here?"

Dorian and Mom were the only people that called me Nina.

When i was born, Niko was obsessed with Michael Myers' movies so he asked to name me Myers. And Dorian even though 2 years old, wanted to name me Nina.

So it is Myers Nina Meadow.

Niko looked concerned, watching me and Dorian.

"It's time that they are part of our business as well."

"But dad, Myers is only 8 and Dorian has just turned 10"

"They have seen terror when they were younger. This will change nothing for them. They need to know better how the world works. The younger the better."
then dads eyes softened "I know you worry about them but they can handle it. Myers has gone through worse and survived and Dorian is strong."

Some men entered the room, two with bags over their head

Weird. This was supposed to be a meeting

"Take off the bags."

The bags are removed and some men towards their thirties are revealed.

"These men betrayed us and the oath that they took by distributing information and trying to kill their leader. What is the punishment for that? Myers?"

I swallow a lump on my throat and spit out the word
"Death"

Dad takes out two guns and gives one to Dorian and one to me.

"Then punish them"

Niko's eyes open wide.

"Dad, they are just kids. You know that Myers had to go to therapy after that. And Dorian was numb for a month because he almost saw our sister die."

"If she hides from who she is and what she did,she'll grow weak. Myers is not weak. She's a Meadow. Every Meadow has a monster inside them. If they don't get used to it, they'll fear themselves forever. I don't want them to hate who they are. I want them to embrace it. Embrace their potential. They are the heirs of the corporate. You didn't want anything to do with it and i respect your decision but they need to be raised with the sense of leadership and ruthlessness."

Niko lets out a breath an steps back.

Dad motions for Dorian to shoot.

He is hesitant at first but shoots the guy on the forehead. The guy lets a choked sound and drops to the ground.

I know that look on my brother. He imagined our father instead of the guys face.

Without blinking i shoot the gun right in the guys heart.

Dad claps and Nikolas  watches me if i'm okay.
