By the time Saturday morning had rolled around, Steve was jumping with excitement. He wasn't lying when he said he bought a car just to let Maddison borrow it, he didn't like that she rode the subway so late at night anyway. So, when Emilia called him about Maddison's breakdown on the sidewalk, he was pretty quick to pull his phone out and buy a very nice Volvo SUV. He read those were very safe cars and he wanted Maddison and Avery to always be safe. He didn't even know you could order a car online and just pick it up at the dealership the next day, how cool was that?

Steve already had what he hoped was the perfect plan for his date with his girls. He was taking them to a kid friendly restaurant with dancing animatronic animals and arcade games as well as little kid friendly games and a baby safe play area. Then, he was taking them to an art museum. He bought a nice stroller so that Avery could nap while himself and Maddison enjoyed the museum. After that he had snacks planned and to go to the park. He planned the entire date around Maddison's schedule for Avery, he wanted her to be stress free. He was already excited to hold her while they ate, already anticipating a few people saying they were a beautiful family.

Steve laid in bed much longer than he normally would, he didn't even go on his before the sunrise run today, which he never skipped. But he was so excited for his date with his girls that he didn't even think about it. He quickly dressed in a solid pale blue button up shirt, rolling the sleeves up over his thick forearms and leaving the first two buttons undone. He also threw on a pair of jeans that sculpted his thick thighs and prominent ass perfectly, or at least that's what Emilia said when she made him buy more jeans and less khakis. When he made his way downstairs, he was surprised to see that Emilia was already up, but Bucky wasn't. Or at least he wasn't downstairs.

"Morning, Em." Steve said cheerfully. Emilia spun around, smiling at him and giving a teasing whistle at the looks of him. "You're a total babe!" She said happily.

Steve rolled his eyes, but he couldn't hide the blush that rose on his cheeks. "Thanks? I guess.." He said shyly.

Emilia let out a quick laugh, walking around the counter and fixing a few strands of his hair. "You look good, Steve. You're going on your date with Maddie today, right?" She asked. Steve nodded, unable to stop a smile from spreading across his face. "Good, is Avery going to Jackson and Scott's?" She asked. "I know James would happily take her if they're busy." She mentioned. Steve knew it, Bucky was so obsessed with that little girl, but so was he.

Steve shook his head no, smiling down at his friend. "Nah. I can't convince her I want to be in both of their lives if I exclude Avery, she's going with us." He told her proudly.

"Sweetie, if you're going somewhere nice, they're not going to be happy about a possibly screaming baby." Emilia told him. Steve stared down at her lovingly, his friend was such a sweet soul, he felt so lucky that his best friend found her. "I know. Kid friendly places only, I even planned a part of the date for her to nap." He bragged proudly. He'd thought so much about the perfect date, for both of his girls.

"That's the cutest thing I've ever heard!" Emilia almost squealed. She pulled Steve into a tight embrace while he smiled down at her, wrapping his arms around her torso tightly.

"Hey, punk. When's the date?" Bucky called out when he joined the two in the kitchen. Steve spun around, releasing Emilia so she could greet her husband. Steve loved watching those two interact, it didn't matter how long they were apart, they greeted each other as if it had been days. He wanted that.

"Not until 10, that way Maddison can get Avery breakfast and her first nap out of the way." Steve informed his friend.

"Does she need a place for Avery to stay? We'll take her." Bucky offered.
