Bang's

Today is the day.

The day that I'll be able to see her again, closer than my usual spot.

Today, hindi ko na kailangan na kasama lang ako sa crowd at kailangan mag intay pa ng schedule ng laro nila para makita siya.

Though we're gonna play against each other, I know, for now, this is the closest distance that I can be with her.

"Hey... ngiting ngiti a?" siko ni Mands sakin habang paakyat kami ng bus.

"Just thrilled, I guess?"

"Excited to see her again?"nakangiti niya ring tanong as we take our seats na magkatabi.

I just smiled. Yes, I am excited.

Both teams are now on their respective positions.

We are occupying the half of the court and now starting to do light exercise, while the Ateneo team is also doing the same at the other side.

Every once in a while, nagnanakaw ako ng tingin kay Aly. They are on a line at isa isang pina practice ng receive ng coach nila.

Nakakatuwa siyang panoorin dahil halatang masaya siya. Na-miss kong nakikita siyang ganun na masaya

"Hey! Focus!" someone shouted.

Pag lingon ko, it was Mands with a smile on her face. Kinabahan ako ng konti, akala ko kasi si coach or kung sino man sa staffs na nakakitang nalipad ang utak ko.

Mands poke me on my side at hinila ako to be her partner sa pagpractice ng digs, "Believe me, I understand na sobrang missed mo na siya, but let's finish this first. Okay?"

"I am focus on game, Mands." I try to defend pero tinaasan niya lang ako ng kilay.

"Sige, 90%. 90% I am focus on the game."

"Baka 90% focus on Aly?" sabay tawa niya at palo ng bola sakin para i-dig ko.

"Pwede." I smiled wider at pinapunta sa kanya yung bola, which she catches at tumingin sakin.

"Sabi ko na nga ba e! Malayo pa lang siya nagkakaganyan, pano pa pag nagkatapat kayo sa court mamaya?"

"I don't know. I might crossed the net and hug her."

"Pineda! Villanueva!" and I know that voice. Ngayon, si coach na talaga yun.

Long whistle echoed in the arena. Game is about to start.

I am positioned here at zone 5, while Aly is at the other end, malapit sa second referee, at zone 4.

I've got to do my objectives today, win for the team and impress Aly. At least in that way, she'll be able to notice me.

Nag start na yung game, Ateneo will be the first to serve.

First point goes to us after an error called on Pots. Nakita ko naman na napangiti lang si Pots. I smiled, still, the chillax type.

After that, bumawi kaagad si Pots by striking hard against our team's block.

I shook my head, focus. Focus.

Hindi pwedeng kay Pots nakatuon ang lahat ng atensyon ko.

Because of pressure and momentum sa game, nagawa ko ring mag totally focus sa game.
