I've just arrived here at ADMU, but still in my car when I heard my phone ringing.

Pinatay ko yung sasakyan ko and answered the phone before getting out of the car.

It's Ella. She's probably just checking on me, late na kasi ako.

"Hey, Den.." she greeted as I took the phone call.

"Hi, Ella... why are you calling? Super late na ba 'ko?"

"No, actually coach still not here, nasa locker pa kami."

I was about to tell her na andito rin naman ako and papunta na ng gym when I heard someone talked on her side, "Wait lang besh ha, si assistant coach may i-a-announce daw e."

"Okay..."

I don't know why, but instead of getting out dahil alam kong late na ko, I still decided to lean on my seat.

"Hey, besh..."

"Oh, Ella?"

"Uhm... malapit ka na ba?... Si assistant coach kasi inannounce na pinapasabi daw ni coach na magkakaroon tayo ng break for a week... starting today."

I was not able to reply quickly.

Although it was me who decided to have a gap with Ly for a while, I've been excited to see her today.

But, I guess, I wouldn't see you for a week...

Siguro, tadhana na yung gumagawa ng paraan for us to realize that we're still not ready to see each other.

That we both need time to heal... separately.

"Malayo pa ako, Ella. Siguro hindi na lang ako tutuloy."I lied, " Thanks, Besh. See you next week." and I hanged up the call.

I stayed in my car for few more minutes, I know, maya maya, andito na sila.

I adjusted my car sa pwestong hindi nila mapapansin but will have a good sight sa kanila, sa kanya specifically, if ever they'll arrive.

Hayy, naku, Den... you are the one who decided to leave tapos ngayon magtatago ka para makasulyap sa kanya? I scolded myself.

And I was right, ayon na sila at naglalakad pabalik ng dorm. Aly has her head down at nasa pinaka dulo ng pila.

I'm glad you still get up para magpractice. I smiled bitterly. Go for it, Ly. Malayo man ako sa'yo ngayon, please remember that you're always in my mind and heart.

I've spent my whole week in Palawan. I really asked dad to allow me to go there alone but he was so insistent that someone should at least sumama sakin, at least si Jus. Or else, he wouldn't allow me to go.

Having no choice, kasama ko si Jus dito sa Puerto Princesa. Good thing she is understanding even I am not telling her anything.

And I must admit, I think mas na enjoy ko itong vacation at nakalimutan ko kahit papano ang problema ko, na kasama si Jus.

Today's our fifth day here.

"So, you ready?" she asked as she fix her hair in front of the mirror.

"Yeah, ano ba pupuntahan natin?"

"Honda bay lang natandaan ko, ate." sagot niya sabay kindat at ngiti ng malaki, "I've seen it in the net, sobrang ganda!"
