"Hold on, we can't point fingers once again for this-
"Except, we do have evidence this time," Maeve pointed out.
"No, I refuse to vote for Easton!," Akihiro argued.
"Then you can go die with that murderer."
"We don't have enough proof yet to assume that," Nathaniel retorted.
"His fingerprints were found at the location of the crime scene, that's enough evidence," Maeve pointed out.
"It still doesn't make any sense! Easton, Akihiro and Justin were friends!," Andrew recalled.
"Then whatever Easton saw in the motive video was enough to drive him to betray his friend. It's as simple as that."
As they all argued whether he was innocent or not, Easton's ability to speak up was stopped.
He knew for a fact that he didn't kill Justin but upon hearing the evidence against him, he wasn't so sure anymore.
He could've done it while his thoughts were lost in despair with the motive videos they've received two days ago.
Yet again, he would've certainly remembered if he had murdered Justin with his own two hands.
"Fight for the truth."
That was what Akihiro had told him before the trial.
Should he have listened to Akihiro's advice or to listen to what everyone else is saying.
"Mmhmmph!"
The noise had came from Monomi who was trying to say something through the cloth Monokuma had put over it's mouth.
"Seems like we've reached a split!," Monokuma explained grabbing everyone's attention.
Out of nowhere, Monokuma pulled a mechanical key and placed it on the location in front of his throned chair.
Easton began to feel a vibration below him and one by one, each of the podiums started to lift up and rearrange themselves.
"An explanation would be nice right now!," Calista shrieked in surprise.
"Did I forget to mention this part? Oops!"
"It seems pretty important to forget if you ask me!," Jackson sarcastically noted.
"Since we've reached a split into this part of the class trial, you've been divided into two sides of the argument!"
"The point is to defend your points against the opposing side!"
"By the end of this debate, the winning side will prevail for the upcoming discussion you'll partake in next for this class trial!"
"Good luck, puhuhuhu!"
He turned to the opposing side that he was on, the side that believed he was Justin's killer.
It consisted of Amanda, Hunter, Maeve, Lin, Tyler, Elijah and Peter along with the portrait of Justin.
Turning to his side, it consisted of the people who believed that he wasn't the culprit.
Next to Akihiro, it consisted of Preston, Calista, Andrew, Jackson, Nathaniel and Liam.
He had to admit, it was a surprise and relief to see Liam on his side, although as mysterious as he was, his contributions to the class trial have seemed helpful.
"This debate is useless, we already know who the culprit of this case is," Hunter started.
"The evidence that leads to Easton as a culprit doesn't match up with his alibis," Liam reminded him.
