Everyone of them was silent for a while as they all stood on each of their designed podiums.

The podiums were arranged in an enclosed circle so they could all face one another.

His podium was beside Akihiro while on his other side sat Peter's podium.

"Question, why is a frame of Justin's portrait on one of the podiums?," Maeve asked.

"I'd hate to see your fellow classmate miss the excitement of this class trial just because their in the afterlife!" Monokuma explained with a mocked sympathetic voice.

Easton and Akihiro turned to look at one another and then at Monokuma, not appreciating how Monokuma was taking pride in their friend's death.

"Now, if there aren't any more questions, let's go over the rules of the class trial. So, your votes will determine the results!"

"If you can figure out 'whodunnit', then only they will receive punishment. But if you choose the wrong one..."

"-then I'll punish everyone beside the blackened, and the one that deceived everyone else will graduate!"

"Punishment?," Easton thought, clueless to what it the bear meant however he didn't sound of it didn't seem comforting at all.

"So, just to make sure the killer is one of us?," Easton asked Monokuma.

"Mr. Miles is correct!," Monokuma replied with a smile, trying to act as innocently as it can possibly can.

"Alright, everyone raise your hand if your the murderer!," Calista suggested.

"What? Don't be an idiot," Jackson commented, baffled by Calista's suggestion.

"Fine then, where do we start? I'm open to suggestions!," Preston started.

From across the room, he spotted Nathaniel slap his hand against his forehead in response.

"We should start with summarizing the murder," Easton suggested, making Akihiro give him a thumbs up for getting everyone started.

"The body was presumed to be found after the morning announcement at the start of the day."

"The victim was found in the library, with a trauma to the head as well as sign of a broken wrist on the other hand."

"The book shelf was toppled over the victim's body which was also positioned face down on the floor."

"Great job, detective," Akihiro complimented with a grin, proud of his friend.

"There's so much to cover, um, what do we discuss first?," Lin asked, overwhelmed at the amount of information Easton had presented.

"We should probably discuss the possible murder weapon for the-

"Is there even any point in discussing this?," Hunter said, sounding bored.

"Oh did you forget silly? We're here to-

"No, I know that Pete," Hunter told him with a dismissive wave.

"What I mean is, it's pretty obvious who the real culprit is."

Easton and Akihiro looked at one another with looks of confusion and surprise.

"Well, don't keep us waiting! Tell us!," Andrew urged him.

Jackson began to scoff, catching Hunter's attention.

"Is there a problem?," he asked, with an eyebrow raised.
