May 12th ???

"How is he?"

"Still no word from him sir," one of  his men reported, holding a clipboard as he skimmed through the records they had on their captive.

He gave out a sigh, running a hand through his dirty-blonde messy hair.

It's been 2 weeks since they have caught the captive yet he remains as stubborn as ever in giving them the answers that they needed.

"I told you torture is the best method in situations like these, give it up. You can't handle a job like this, stick to doing all your paperwork instead," one of the commanders words rung in his ear.

He was never one for getting his hands dirty so he didn't really believe that the whole torture method was effective but looking at how he has made no progress so far, he may have to resort to that method and take it in his own hands.

His men had their fair share of mini acts of torture to get the kid to spill any information such as starvation or splashing him with ice, cold water.

Despite all that, the kid doesn't say a thing and continues to taunt at their failures.

"Take my jacket," he said as he handed it to one of his men.

"But sir-

"I know what I'm doing, just keep guard in case there are any more like him who are still lurking around."

Pressing his palm against the scanner, he began to enter where the kid sat tied up in the chair in the middle of his confinement.

A black blindfold was tied to cover his eyes for in case he escaped, he didnt want him giving any information about their base.

His hands were tied behind his back with handcuffs for ropes were always useless in holdup situations like this.

Taking the tray of food, he held it up to the kid.

"I'm assuming you're hungry so if you just cooperate nicely, you can have this loaf of-

Before he could finish his proposition, the kid began to spat on his face.

In disgust, he took a handkerchief to wipe his face and stood up so he towered over him.

"You find this amusing, don't you?"

"To me it is, at least," he replied as a smirk began to form from his mouth.

"Mr.-

"You know you should really address me by my first name," the kid suggested, blowing a strand of his ash-blonde hair away from his face.

"Why is that?," he asked him, trying to speculate what was going on inside this kid's head.

"Because it'll be the last thing you'll say in your last moments," the kid chuckled.

His heart began to beat fast as he turned around, in the place where one of his men stood was just a glass splattered with blood.

Before he could reach for his gun, he fell to the floor and the last thing he saw was Jadren Riorsan.

"What took you so long, bubblegum?," Jadren asked with a smirk as the female sheathed her sword, stepping over the guy she had just pulled her sword from.

"How is your ass getting captured by these people," she asked him, reaching for the key to undo Jadren's handcuffs as it gave a small clicking sound.

"Maybe I just wanted you to save my sorry ass, hmm?," he hummed as he took off the blindfold, revealing two multicolored eyes, his other eye the color of hazel and the other a sage green color.
