Chapter Theme:
All My Heart by Sleeping with Sirens~
Solana sensed her stomach grumbling and woke up roughly three-thirty in the morning, depending on the wall clock in the space she shared with Brent. Before gently tapping her lover on his shoulder in order to rouse him conscious, she took a minute to gaze upon her boyfriend's face. Brent calmly smiled at her rather than becoming annoyed with her for disturbing his peaceful sleep.
"Yes, my sunshine? Anong kailangan mo? Babangon ako..." he asked while his eyes are still half opened.
"I'm starving," she took an immense breath after responding. "What do you want to eat? I'll cook it for you."
Her expression brightened as she declared, "Egg drop soup!"
He never thought about missing the times she felt hungry considering that, in spite to being unhealthy for her, she was also carrying a little one that would draw strength from the food in her womb.
So, any time that Sol craves for food or thinks of eating, he will get up instantly to cook for her.
Brent without delay undid the sheets that were encasing his body to get away from bed and start putting together Solana's food soon after she briefed him of her taste.
"Sasama ako sa 'yo sa baba, gusto kitang panoorin magluto!" masayang sambit ng kaniyang nobya. "Okay, just wear your slippers with you, para safe ka kapag bumaba ng hagdan."

After standing from the wooden seat, Solana headed towards Brent, who was chopping scallions for the soup Solana was going to make. Brent smiled and lifted his eyebrows as Sol leaned against the kitchen counter.
"I have something to ask you, my baby sunshine!" Sol smiled.
Brent questioned as he continued to slice all of the necessary ingredients, "What is it, baby?"
"May ikinakatakot ka ba bilang parent ng magiging anak natin?"
Brent nodded. "Meron, pero isa lang."
"Oh, then... what is it?" Sol put all her attention into Brent all together while waiting for him to answer her.
He took a moment to himself before catching up. "I'm just afraid of being that parent where our kids would flee the living room and hide within their bedrooms shortly as I came home. I just don't wish to be that parent who enters home and right away triggers everyone's mood to be shattered..."
"I'm confident that, that kind of situation will never happen to you as a Dad. I know that you will fill every areas of this home with lots of love and laughter," Sol hugged her from behind.
Sol doesn't even understand why she finds everything about him attractive, regardless of whether he's simply cooking or basically doing something minor.
It cannot be denied, she's whipped.
Brent parted apart the eggs to set them in the soup after which he gave it a thorough stir, muttering, "Let's wait for it to cook, okay? It'll take around three minutes,"
"Are you okay?" he worriedly checked her out.
Sol forcefully widened her eyes. "I'm a bit sleepy lang... but, don't worry! I am fine!"
"Baby, I have an idea. Do you have your phone with you?" Brent queried. "Yeah, why? Here!" she swiftly released it from her pyjama's pocket and handed it over to him.
