"I have to do a Walk for Cancer event with Maya and Anna in two days," Delilah said as she reached for her boyfriend's hand. "So we won't be able to hang out."

"That sucks," Alex sighed. "Thank God I planned something good for us today."

Delilah raised an eyebrow. "What're you talking about?"

He grinned and dragged her over to a certain area of the park, where he'd set up a cute little picnic area for the two of them. "This."

"Are you serious?" she laughed, jumping into his arms to hug him. "You're so cute for doing this."

"Don't I deserve a reward for it?" he grinned, bending down to meet her eye level.

She rolled her eyes but smiled as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "There you go."

"Good enough," he chuckled as he sat down on the blanket. "So, how was hanging out with Brandt?"

"It was nice, actually," Delilah said. "I love him. Not the same way I love you, but he's like... practically my twin brother at this point. I'm so happy I became friends with you guys."

"You're so cute," he laughed as he wrapped her in a hug. "I love you too."

"I gave him girl advice," she continued. "For Heather. But we also talked about some deep shit, like how I'm terrified of drifting apart from you and everyone else, you know?"

Alex nodded. "Growing up is pretty fucking scary," he grinned. "I'm just glad I get to do it with you."

Delilah snickered and punched him in the arm lightly. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. You're just so in love with me. I don't blame you."

"Yup," he smiled, leaning over to kiss her forehead. "I wanna make the time we have together count. Even though I know we'll never break up."

"The day I stop loving you is the day that I die," she teasingly said. "Actually, I'll probably still be loving you from the grave."

"Creepy, but sweet," he laughed. "You're still gonna love me when I'm an old, wrinkly man?"

"I can imagine us sitting together in the poker room of a retirement home already," Delilah snickered. "And we both still look amazing."

"Of course. You'll always be beautiful."

"Oh, my God, Steven," Anna giggled. "We've been talking on the phone for like, so long. It's been three hours."

Maya rolled her eyes and held up the shirt she was decorating for the Walk for Cancer event. "Anna, do you like my shirt? Isn't it good? Is it okay?"

"It looks nice, Maya," Delilah reassuringly smiled. "By the looks of it, Anna's relationship with the high schooler is going well."

"Oh, my God, aw!" Anna gushed, still ignoring her friends for her boyfriend. "You know, the Walk for Cancer's tomorrow. And you and Derrick are coming like, what time? ...Yeah, it's tomorrow. No, we sold enough bags for all of us to go... can you and Derrick reschedule bowling for another night?"

"What?" Maya hissed. "They're going bowling?"

"Are you mad?" Anna whined into the phone. "Are you okay? I'm sorry. No. I don't know. Do you swear to God? No, but you do sound mad at me. Okay, I love you. I love you so much. Bye... are you still on?"
