“I just want her dead.” That is the very first word I heard when I came to my senses and everything just flooded back to me. I immediately sat up and pushed my hair from my face and find myself in the presence of not only one demon but two.
Vertigo greeted me when I abruptly stand up, when for some reason I sense the other Demon that is stalking towards me is more threatening than the first one and the warning bells in my head is clanging loudly for me to run.
“Sloan never had a virgin before and I'm glad that Master called Sloan to do Master’s bidding.” I hyperventilate with fear when I saw the second demon walked slowly towards me, his eyes are bloody red and all red to be exact, he has neither pupil nor sclera.
Master?
I looked towards the other Demon who currently lounging in the couch, smirking boastfully in my direction.
“Run.” He sneered back at me the same time I heard Sloan, the other demon growled.
I didn’t need any encouragement as I dash out of the attic room as fast as I could, the sound of my bare feet slapping against the stairs echoed throughout my empty home.
“Run! Little girl. Sloan loves hunting!” The demon, Sloan’s scratchy voice followed me as I run for my life.
I must reach the Panic Room; I just rounded the corner of the hall towards my bedroom when I heard some crashing behind me and instinctively I know that the demon is hot on my heels.
I abruptly stopped when the same demon I'm running away from stands grinning with saliva flowing in his mouth infront of my room.
“No hiding in your hole, Mouse. Sloan doesn’t like it.”
Oh God!
I high-tailed towards the second Panic room in the kitchen area, fear fueling my now tired legs into running faster when I sensed the demon following me again along with sound of my things being destroyed.
I saw the wide opened front door and made a split second decision to sprint out of the house all together.
My legs are like a dead weight as exhaustion replaced the adrenaline in my body and the stitch in my side is unbearably hurting.
I momentarily decided to stop to catch my breath when a force hits me from behind, sending me sprawling on the ground littered by dead leaves.
“No more running, Mouse. Sloan is hungry and needy.” I let out a blood-curdling scream when he pulled me towards him by my ankles.
“Let go of me!” I shouted as I tried to kick myself from his grasp but he dug his claw-armed fingers in my calves, blood oozed from the wounds it created.
I felt an immeasurable terror when he looms over me and pins my hands over my head as I continue writhing and buckling under him, trying a futile effort of dislodging his weight away from me.
“Fight more, Mouse. Sloan loves it. Shout. Scream.”
I screamed once more when his long forked tongue licks my neck.
In my frenzy of struggle I managed to free one of my hands and he bellowed in pain when I scratched his eyes up.
But that made him angrier, I almost fainted when he slap me hard on the face and too stunned to realize that he managed to rip my blouse away. I screamed myself hoarse when I felt him fumbling over my jeans and I renewed fighting him up.
Screaming.
Shouting.
Twisting.
Buckling.
