Between the bodies, the fires, and the smoke making her eyes burn; the worse thing was that the Dark wizards and goblins were laughing. Gleeful cackles, shouting out numbers, that Séraphine quickly realized were the amount of people they killed.

"Anne," Séraphine tried again, mustering the strength for a charm she'd learn recently. It was Dark magic. She shouted the incantation, allowing for a thunderous bolt of green lightening to bring all the Dark wizards to their knees. It wasn't enough to kill them, but it was able to make them immobile for a while. It also left Séraphine wanting to throw up from the Dark magic making her feel soiled and her body ached. "Get inside Anne! I can't keep this up!"

Finally the witch turned around, having defeated a couple goblins with the fire making spell. "Alright-" Her eyes widened, before squinting to stare at something behind Séraphine as the smoke from the house fires made it difficult to see.

A low, deep chuckle emanated from behind her.

It send a shiver down her spine as he spoke through the dark smoke and ash.

"Children should be seen, not heard."

The Whole Truth: Part Two

Séraphine went to spin around when Anne knocked her to the ground. She saw the cursed magic hit her in the left side, just above her hip, and she let out a blood curling scream.

"ANNE! SÉRA!" The thunderous bellow came from Sebastian outside their house. "Where are you?!"

The brunette was on the ground, bawling her eyes out as pain racked her body. It was worse than any Cruciatus Curse, Séraphine had ever witnessed. And it was unfortunate that she'd witnessed a lot; being the recipient a few times. Over Anne, green waves of magic consumed her, running over her body like a fierce tide back and forth.

"Protego!" Séraphine casted a shield over them that would only protect them from the goblins starting to close in on them and she returned his bellow with one of her own, "'BASTIEN! Á l'aide! S'il vous plait!"

Her mind was racing and she couldn't translate fast enough, but he heard her. That's what mattered. He appeared before them, running through the smoke and wearing only the linen trousers he'd gone to bed in. He waved his wand towards the goblins, casting explosive spell after explosive spell, and sent them all flying to their deaths.

Sebastian knelt down, eyes focused on his sister. "I-I don't understand, was it an Unforgivable? I don't see where she's hurt. Who did this?"

"I think she was cursed. She pushed me out of the way." Séraphine admitted, feeling small under the sudden weight of his gaze.

"Cursed? What the fuck were you thinking running out without me or Ominis." Sebastian was seething, a wild look in his eyes, "It should have been you. Not my sister." He snarled, eyes darkening with resentment. He picked his twin up, trying to carry her as she threw her body around from the pain, and shouted at the other witch to get back into the house. Ominis showed up, coughing from the smoke and his wand out.

He was bewildered, having looked like he'd been fighting as well. There was ash smeared across his cheek and a redness on his shoulder from a nasty knock back jinx. "I've cleared a path. Solomon is out there helping now."
