"You can't leave me here!" Catherine yelled desperately, her arm bloodied and a small chunk of it missing. "I'm special! I have the magic! You're all supposed to love me!"

Sebastian waved her off dismissively. "You chose your fate when you threatened her."

"Good riddance." Ominis muttered as the stone sculpture turned around, revealing a secret exit. The flames were crawling towards Catherine hastily with more of the rocks from the ceiling caving in. A particularly large boulder fell down on Catherine's foot; effectively trapping her. "We need to leave. Let's go!"

A powerful wave of magic hit them all, slamming the three of them into the stone sculpture. It closed in on them, turning around, and revealing the Slytherin dungeons. All three of the students fell out, hitting the ground hard. A wave of dizziness set through her.

Three pairs of boots suddenly stopped in front of them. Séraphine looked up to meet a pair of humored, grey eyes. But it was someone behind him that spoke. She couldn't see who.

"Draco? Mate, you saw that too, right?"

The wizard called Draco knelt down in his matte black suit. He reached toward, holding out his hand. The pale blonde of his hair, caught the light. "I did. I'm Draco Malfoy. Fancy meeting a beauty like you down here in the dungeons."

Something isn't right.

Seraphine felt dazed as Sebastian helped her up, completely ignoring Draco. He placed the end of his wand to the side of her head, muttering a healing charm for minor abrasions. She felt the magic soothe the pain like a cold brush against her forehead.

"So you lot are in Slytherin? What year?" The voice previously behind Draco came from a tall, sun-kissed wizard with brown hair that was more disheveled in comparison to Sebastian's tousled curls. His face more angular and higher cheekbones. "And what are your names?"

Sebastian frowned, looking rather disinterested. His attention was focused on the wall they came from. Would Catherine follow soon enough? "Seventh year. Sebastian Sallow."

"Ominis Gaunt. Seventh year."

Draco's attention perked up along with the ebony wizard beside him. "Gaunt? You're lying. The last of the Gaunts died out half a century ago."

Ominis crossed his arms, a bored look weighing down on his features. "I'll assure you Marvolo and my parents are very much alive and very much a pain in my arse."

None of them appeared convinced, but Draco's attention now turned to her. "And you, brainiac? You might you be?"

"Quel est..." Her eyebrows scrunched forward, looking to Sebastian for help. "What is a b..brainiac he's speaking of?"

With a shrug of his shoulders, he pulled her towards him. His arms wrapped around her body, the side of her head against his chest. "Pay little attention to him, darling."

She saw Draco's eyes narrow. "I asked for your name."

"What gives you the right to know it." Sebastian half-snarled, nodding his head towards the stairway. "Come along. We should tell the headmaster about Catherine."

"Dumbledore? What business do you have with him? Ah, I'm Theo, by the way. Theodore Nott. And this is Blaise Zabini. Not that any of you asked which is quite rude." The stringy boy reflected arbitrarily.
