The Scottish wizard must have also been close because he started whispering sweet nothings next to her ear. Soft coos that he would protect her, he would always be with her. He told her how much he loved her and how she was his center of gravity.
As quietly as she could manage, having to bite down on Sebastian's robe, Séraphine felt herself go over the edge. This new, slow burned lovemaking had made her legs feel like they'd been cursed with the jelly-legs jinx.
It didn't take long for Sebastian once he felt her clenching around him and shaking that he pushed deep into her and came with a muffled, low groan in his throat. Though she didn't want him to move from her just yet, he had to in the event someone walked in. And although he did zip his trousers back up, Sebastian went right back to holding her. He had maneuvered them so she was pinned in-between the couch and his body, both a protective gesture and because she was cold now from the light sheen of sweat on her body.
Sebastian ran a hand through her pale blond hair, pressing his lips briefly against her forehead. It was another silent promise. He was going to protect her at all costs.
Grim or no Grim.
Introducing Dumbledore's Army
Most of the ingredients were easy to get her dainty little hands on. Leech juice was useful in shrinking potions which could minimize the Dark Lord's magic. Combining it with Bloodroot would ensure that none of his wounds would regenerate. Adding Lovage could confuse the Dark Lord since it was typically used in Confusing and Befuddlement Draughts. Octopus Powder strengthened the vitality of the elixir meanwhile the Valerian added a sedative quality.
These ingredients had been easy... because they lacked lethality. A few days had passed since she'd purchased all the ingredients with money from her family's bank in Gringotts, but this wouldn't be an effective potion unless it severely wounded the Dark Lord. There also had to be another additive that broke down Dark Magic. Unfortunately, Séraphine knew of the proper ingredient to accomplish both these final factors.
Acromantula venom.
She got the idea from their previous trip to Hogsmeade. Although everyone had been debating about where to hold their training session, Séraphine had noticed a window selling Armadillo Bile mixture. That blended substance was extremely corrosive to the skin and if contact was made, only unicorn hair could clean the affected tissue thoroughly. Sebastian had noticed her distraction and made a comment about how some witches tried to hint to their betrothed about wanting flowers. He had to worry about his witch wanting obscene potions.
The French witch didn't hesitate telling him that not all witches participated in semi-public sex and that if he wanted to complain, she could only do missionary for the rest of their life in the comforts of their home. He promptly shut up and bought the potion for her.
She was simmering with ideas now on which qualities made the Armadillo Bile mixture so corrosive that Unicorn hair would be the only suitable cure. It couldn't just be the Acromantula venom. Between the Bat wings, Armadillo bile, Wormwood, Amortentia, and Aconite... one of those added this interesting property.
Flipping the pages of a herbology book, Séraphine's watched from her seat when Harry had begun to pile everyone into the Room of Requirement. For a bunch of witches and wizards who wanted to learn, they sure were a tardy bunch. Sebastian and Ominis had been waiting for Harry to come back and were entertaining themselves with seeing who could levitate a bucket of water higher without spilling it. Ominis was completely dry and yet her lover had to use six drying charms in the span of ten minutes.
