Séraphine raised an eyebrow, "You fell in love with me at first sight."

He nodded, a grin forming from her boldness. "Keep talking to me like that, ma chérie, and I'll have to put you back in your place."

"What place is that?"

"Underneath me." He replied, no trace of hesitation in his voice. When she blushed which was exactly what he wanted, he laughed quietly. Sebastian gave her a chaste kiss, murmuring. "You still need to eat. How about you and I spend our afternoon learning what we missed the last 105 years?"

Séraphine pulled away briefly, already missing his lips against hers. "Quoi? As in go where? Hogsmeade?"

"London?" He suggested, cupping the side of her face. His thumb brushed her cheek, adoration pooling in his eyes. She swore his eyes dilated when he looked at her. As if she was responsible for putting the stars in his sky and the air in his lungs. "There's something bad happening in this time. I know there is and we've been here no time at all. I'm going to fight like hell to keep you safe, Séraphine. I know you're not the kind of witch to want to be protected, but you're important-"

He was cut off as her lips pressed against his in another brief kiss. She smiled against him, whispering. "You talk too much. Take me on a date, Mr. Sallow. Before the world ends, preferably."

Sebastian smirked. "Yes, madame." And he kissed her.

A Date to Remember

They used floo powder after receiving permission from the Headmaster to leave the Castle for a few hours. He had been understanding about them wanting to see the outside world, but hesitant about them leaving the Castle with no escort. Luckily, Professor McGonagall had interrupted with news that couldn't possibly wait. It allowed for them to make their quick escape before the Headmaster could change his mind, but not before he gave them some Muggle money.

Neither were sure what the pieces of paper amounted to be. It was multicolored with predominantly red colors and in thick lettering read: THE BANK OF ENGLAND. There was a regal looking woman on the right side with an ornate crown and on the back; a man with a roundish face and white curls lofting down his face. Séraphine counted quickly. There were six of these banknotes that read £50.

Séraphine glanced at Sebastian as they walked through modern-day Hyde Park. It was chilly out. She was on his right, arms intertwined and held onto his bicep. Séraphine was greedy for his warmth, but despite the fact that she was pressed against his side; it never felt close enough.

He wore black trousers made from a light denim material. He wore a long sleeve white collared shirt underneath a viridescent casual knitted sweater. It made his chest and shoulders look broad, reminding her again of how deliciously he towered over her. It was a tower she was interested in climbing. Sebastian ran a hand through his hair, scratching his head in confusion as he glanced around, and distracting her from... intrusive thoughts.

"Does this place sound... louder? There's so many... noises." He said disdainfully.

She could hear it. The noises he was referring to. Piercing sounds with flashing lights. Motor-wagons had debuted four years prior-well 109 years ago, but now they had technologically advanced l'automobiles. Advanced ones with loud horns as they drove erratically around each other and Muggles would roll down windows to shout nasty expletives.
