Remembering

Ella's pov

I heard muffled speaking. I ,tried opening my eye lids but they felt so heavy I couldn't do it. I felt physically and emotionally drained. My entire body feels numb except my head.

I still heard the muffled speaking but then it stopped. Next thing I know I felt someone kiss my check, but it was so gently as of a kiss can hurt me. I don't know why but I felt like crying when that happened. I'm guessing it's because I didn't get a kiss that soft or gentle in so long. Actually I can't remember ever having a kiss anywhere except from my mom, but she's gone now. I started thinking who would kiss me but know one came to my mind. My head actually started hurting from thinking. I'm surprised dad didn't come to wake me up yet.

Shit he's going to get so pissed off at me for not waking up yet. I tried opening my eyes again but I couldn't do it, it feels like a boulder on each of my eyelids that's preventing me from opening my eyes. I still have to get ready for school to.

It took me so long but I finally managed to open my eyes, but I quickly shut them again because of the bright lights blinding my vision. Once my eyes adjusted to the lights I looked around. I was in a room with light blue, walls a small side table beside the uncomfortable bed I was in that had a thin white blanket on me. I looked down and saw I was waring a very thin white hospital gown. I heard the heart monitor and saw blood being injected in my arm by a needle. I figured out was in the hospital by now but I don't remember how. Last thing I remembered was going to sleep while studying for a test.

I heard the door creak open and a doctor came in with a bright smile. I don't know why he's smiling I'm in a hospital this is not a place for smiling.

"You're awake! That great, how are you feeling?" He asked I shrugged my shoulders not wanting to talk.

" I forgot your friends told me you don't talk, sorry about that." he said

I nodded. when did I have friends?

"Here take this ask if you have any questions." he says while heading me a notebook and pen from a drawer in the room that I didn't even notice was there.

Why am I here? I write down

"You don't remember?" He asks

I nod.

"Can you answer the following questions im about to ask you?" He replied shock evident in his voice.

I nodded again.

"What's the date today."

I don't know I write

"What's your name "

I write Ella Storm

"What school do you go to"

West Side high school I write

"How old are you"

18

"What your best friends name"

I don't have any I write

He read through my answers.

"Ok that's all I need for today thank you Ella I need to talk to other clients. You can also keep the notebook." he said with a small smile.

I nodded the only thing I can do.

Harry's pov

"What do you mean she can't remember" I ask.

"She can remember, just not everything. She remembers some thing that happened at the same time period but not all of it. So she remembers prices of information of a memory not all of. I'm going to get some pills for this so she can remember again. You guys can see her but only two of you at time. Try showing her some pictures of your guys together so it can refresh her memory. it's only temporary memory loss it will last a maximum of a month so don't worry." the doctor told us.
