GRACELYN'S POV

"OW! STOP PULLING MY HAIR!" I screamed as Stephanie yanked a paddle brush through my wet hair. She only laughed as I frowned while she continued pulling the tangles out of my hair.

"God! What did you do to your hair?!" She questioned when she got to one of the biggest tangles. I shrugged. "It's always like this." She frowned in concentration as she worked at the knot. Suddenly, Olivia was standing in front of me, smiling ear-to-ear. She was holding the floral dress in front of me. I made a sour face at the sight of it. I never really was the dress type of girl. I hated them. So much.

"Oh c'mon. Don't put that face. You look gorgeous in this!" She exclaimed, holding it higher so it was eye-level with me. I'll admit, I do feel pretty in that dress. But I'm afraid of what other people will think. I gave her an are-you-sure-look and she smiled even wider. She grabbed my hand to pull me into the closet to get dressed but Stephanie slapped her hand away. She pulled back as if Stef actually hurt her, which was unlikely. They hit each other all the time.

"Owie." Olivia said, rubbing her hand.

"Not. Until. I'm. Finished." Stef growled behind me. I looked at her in the mirror. She was quite the perfectionist. If anyone even touched a single strand on my head while she working, she would restart. Olivia rolled her eyes and sighed as Stef finished brushing out all the tangles.

"There. Finished." She stated, giving me the once-over before allowing Liv to take me to the closet.

"Put this on while I look for accessories," she said, throwing the dress at me. I slipped on the dress, watching as she analyzed every shoe, every piece of jewelry, every belt, until she found the perfect combination. She put the mini sweater over my shoulders and the belt on my waist. She lifted one foot up to slip on one shoe, then the other.

"You know I can dress myself," I said as she nodded in concentration, looking over my body.

"Hmmm," She hummed in thought. Her eyebrows furrowed in concentration, leaving a crease in between. She opened the door, unsure, to my bedroom.

"What do you guys think?" She said, still analyzing me. All eyes were on me. I felt like a science project, the scientist fixing all my imperfections. I shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other which was hard in the 4 inch wedges Olivia put on me.

Finally, Felicity spoke up. "Lose the jacket, thinner belt.." She trailed off.

"Grace, do you have a black high low dress?" Stef asked.

"Uh, yeah, I think. You want me to put that on?" I asked unsure.

She nodded and Olivia led me back to the closet. She rifled through my many dresses that I never wear till she found the black one. She handed it to me and commanded me to put it on while she looked for the belt.

"Take off the jacket." She reminded me, her back to me. I did as I was told and hung the jacket back up on the hanger. I waited patiently as Liv compared two thin belts: A white a tan one. She finally decided on the tan one and slipped it on my waist. She switched my black wedges to tan ones to match the belt. She took in my full appearance and squealed in delight.

"You look...PERFECT!" She screamed. She threw open the door and let the others take me in as I did a twirl in front of them. I was smiling uncontrollably. I felt so pretty in this dress. It hugged me in all the right places and not in the wrong ones. Why have I never worn this before? Liv paired it with the perfect accessories, added silver hoops and a simple gold ring. Everyone was staring at me in awe, a smile plastered on their faces.
