Switched (Jeremy Shada Fanfic)

~Chapter 6~

GRACELYN'S POV

It wasn't unnatural for Jeremy to sleep over. It's not like we were sleeping in the same bed or anything. Best friends sleep at each other's houses all the time. That's what Jeremy and I were. Best friends. We slept for maybe 12 hours. When I woke up he was still fast asleep on the bed next to mine. I rolled over and glanced at the alarm clock on my bedside table. 12:45. I groaned. I was really tired. I stretched my arms and grabbed one of my throw pillows and chucked it at Jeremy. I heard a low groan from the mess of bed head and threw another pillow. He twitched a little so I mumbled, "Jeremy, get up. It's almost one. Don't be so lazy."

"Look who's talking, Lazy Ass." He murmured, eyes still closed. I rubbed my eyes and sat up.

"I'll be in the shower." I yawned. I stumbled over to the marble bathroom and turned the gold handle. I walked in and made sure I locked the door behind me. I turned on the shower to the hottest setting and lazily undressed as the room was steaming up. I bathed in the steam as the shower warmed up. When I finally decided it was hot enough, I slowly put one foot in, then the other. My skin instantly reacted to the heat by prickling. I didn't mind the slight burn though. It woke me up. I rinsed out my hair and slathered with an expensive vanilla body wash. I shampooed and conditioned and stood there thinking. About life, friends, breakfast, my date tonight. My date. I totally forgot till now. Only 7 more hours. I couldn't wait. This was gonna be great. I smiled and turned of the shower. I stood in the shower to let the excess water drip off and grabbed two big fluffy towels from the towel warmer. I wrapped one around my body and one around my hair I went to the sink to brush my teeth. The towel dropped from my hair and I left it for the maid to get. I walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed as Jeremy sat up.

"Morning." I pulled open my drawer and grabbed my clothes.

"Morning." He replied groggily.
