JEREMY'S POV

I woke up to the sound of banging pans and laughter from downstairs. Groaning I pushed off the sheets, noticing Gracelyn wasn't in bed beside me. Confused, I stumbled into the hallway and down the stairs only to find Gracelyn and Eric on the floor, laughing their asses off. Seeing Eric, I immediately became angry.

"What's so funny?" I try to ask calmly. They both looked up at me and started laughing again. Seriously, what has gotten into them?

"Well?" I say after a minute. They were both still recovering from their fits of laughter as they stood up slowly.

"First he was like.... and then he was like.... and then the pans....and then he.... and then you..." Gracelyn tried explaining, laughing in between phrases.

"Oh, you just had to be there, Jer." Eric wiped a tear from under his eye.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I grumbled, moving to the fridge to start some sort of breakfast.

"Oh, now don't get all grumpy." Gracelyn fake pouted, wrapping her arms around me from behind.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, turning around and kissing her nose.

"That's better." She smiled. We stood there hugging for a moment before we were interrupted by Eric clearing his throat.

"Um, but there are other people in this room. And by people I mean me."

Gracelyn started laughing before pulling out of my arms. "Well, imma go get ready. Be back in a minute."

The second she left, I walked straight over to Eric, who was now sitting down at the table, reading the newspaper.

"Eric, what the hell?"

"What?" He looked up.

"Why are you always stealing my girlfriends?" I shouted.

"What are you talking about?" He asked, resuming his reading.

"Hannah Tyler. Freshman year." I growled, stealing the newspaper out of his hand.

"Wow was she hot. Am I right?" He laughed, taking the newspaper back.

"That's not the point." I took the newspaper again.

"Then what is?" He smiled mischievously, folding his hands onto the table.

"The point is that she was MY girlfriend and YOU stole her!" I hissed.

"Jeremy, I didn't steal anyone. She just liked me better than you." He smirked.

"And I suppose every girl I dated liked you better than me?"

"Well, considering almost all of them broke up with you to be with me, yes. Yes I do." He got up and walked to the coffee machine, me following behind.

"They didn't like you better! You tricked them! You told them lies!" I almost screamed.

He didn't seem fazed at all by my yelling. "Whatever helps you sleep at night." He shrugged.

I was just about to open my mouth to tell him off again when Gracelyn walked through the doorway, wearing her usual skinny jeans and t shirt combination.

"Jesus, what are you arguing about?" She walked over next to Eric.

He motioned for her to get closer and he whispered something in her ear, causing her to burst out laughing again.

"What?" I questioned.

"Nothing, nothing." Gracelyn smiled. I glared from her to Eric, who was leaning against the counter with an innocent smile played across his face.
