Plugging my brand new novel I guess- honestly, I always pegged myself as a fan fiction writer and I have loved doing that for the last seven years, but I feel mature enough to start writing my own words. Hearts Unscripted is a book that I never thought I would ever write, but I am loving every minute of it. The characters, the storyline, just where I am taking this book. "This suits you, you know." Dylan's voice rang in Matilda's ears as he nonchalantly flicked at her head girl badge. She felt her pulse quicken, a mixture of annoyance and uncertainty bubbling within her. Was he genuinely complimenting her, or was this another one of his thinly veiled jabs? It was always a tricky dance deciphering his intentions – one of the countless threads that had unravelled their relationship in the first place.
Her gaze shifted to him, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Oh, really?" she retorted, her tone laced with scepticism. "Is that your way of saying I finally found my true calling as a head girl?" Matilda's lips quirked up in a wry half-smile, a subtle challenge shimmering in her eyes.
