"Mom." Mary stated as she stood outside the Cooper Household. Alice looked at her, her hair was now brown and short. She was wearing a black top with white plaid dungarees.

"Mary." Alice sighed and Mary walked into her old house. "What can I do for you?" Alice asked with pursed lips, they haven't spoke since Mary left.

"I have news." Mary stated and Alice nodded her head. Alice missed being with Mary, she hated that it was awkward between them. "You will always be my mom, Jules will be my Jules. Soon enough I will start to call her mom as well." Mary started to say and Alice didn't know where this was going. "Point is I have decided to keep my name as Mary Cooper, not Prescott. I mean everyone calls me Mars now, except you, Jughead and Betty." Mary laughed a little and Alice hugged onto her daughter.

"I have missed you." Alice grinned as she held her daughter. "You have no idea." Alice added and Mary felt so happy.

"I thought you hated me for leaving you." Mary stated bluntly and Alice shook her head.

"You never understood our way of live, that's a good thing. You are a serpent now." Alice explained, "you will fit in better." She continued and Mary nodded her head.

"Okay, don't kill me." Mary laughed nervously as she unclipped her dungarees. Her white top was only a boob top so you could see down her side. There was a small serpent tattoo down her side. Alice looked at it in shock. "Jules, doesn't know either. I have a friend Toni Topaz, she took me to her guy." Mary explained and Alice examined the tattoo. "Don't worry it comes off." Mary laughed and Alice was confused.

"Honey, ink does not come off." Alice replied back, she would know of course.

"Well, I didn't want to go full throttle with a tattoo. So every month I have to go back and he will draw it back on. It's only temporary ink. But it's looks real." Mary explained smiling before she clicked back her dungarees.

"Who would have predicted this? Archie Andrews is our fox in the henhouse." Alice asked as she sliced into some homemade pie. Mary was sitting beside Betty and opposite Archie. Mary was staying over at her old house because Jules was away in New York at a convention and she did not want Mary on her own.

"Tell us about Polly." Mary said as she played with her dungaree braces. They were long and black and she paired it with a stripped black top.

"How is she? Did she seem okay?" Betty asked worried and Archie leaned forward a little.

"The Blossoms are treating her great." Archie answered and Mary frowned a little because the Blossoms were not the type. "But, Betty, Mars, I don't think she's coming back. I don't think she wants to." Archie explained and Betty was not having it.

"That doesn't make any sense. That's not Polly." Betty explained and Mary believed that something was up too.

"She made her choice. We have to learn to live with that." Alice said in her usual tone as she sat down at the head of the table.

"No. I know my sister. She wouldn't do that to us. Something else is going on." Betty ranted getting all defensive.

"What else did you see, Archie? When you were in the sticky, red thick of it? Anything about the board" Alice asked as she crossed her arms over. Mary had missed so much when she was with Jules that this was the time for her to catch up.

"Cheryl said that they're worried That after all the scandal with Jason and Polly, that they might try and steal the company from Mr.Blossom." Archie explained as Mary pulled her ponytail tighter.
