(Runaway By Bon Jovi)

Harley's Pov

He gave up on us. On me.

The baggy hoodie, the baggy sweatpants, the hat, the sunglasses, the headphones so I did not have to be alone in my thoughts, all hid myself from the public as I walked down the street, keeping my head down. The dark circles under my eyes from not sleeping last night.

I had a small camera in my pocket, and I roamed the streets, stopping at a hotel. Kevin Matthews Benz was parked right out front of it. I sat across the street, on the sidewalk. Taking in the early morning sky. It was almost sunrise, and I had stuck an Air-Tag on Kevin's car last night.

I had hit my breaking point after that phone call.

He ended things. Completely.

The loop holes weren't going to be easy to fill, but I knew I could fill them one by one. I knew it would be draining, and it would take everything in me, but it was so fucking worth it.

He couldn't wait anymore.

So as I sat there in the morning heat, covered head to toe in clothing to make sure I wasn't seen, I saw Kevin Matthews exiting the hotel room, fixing his tie.

I pulled the camera out from my pocket, snapping a few pictures. The shocked expression written on my face, as Kevin Matthews drove away in his Benz.

But the shocked expression grew, as I was supposed to leave, and I saw my mother come out of the same room.

What. The. Fuck.

My mother, and Kevin Matthews?

I pulled the camera back out, taking pictures of her leaving the room, and getting into her car. And when she drove away, I ran down the street.

Abu's motorcycle sat in the parking lot of a gas station, as I put on the helmet, and kicked the kickstand up.

Smokey's Bar.

The sign came into view, and I parked his bike, a block away, and walked up to the bar, keeping my head down to avoid any recognition.

Leaning on the door of the bar, was a girl, and a man the same height as her. Seeing her made my heart swell up.

"Rhea!" I ran up, letting myself hug the girl who is my sister.

"Harley!" She laughed as our bodies collided.

I felt safe. I felt at home. For once I felt like I belonged somewhere other then with him.

"We have so much to talk about!" She walked a couple buildings down to a diner, and we walked in.

"Under Brown. Private room." The male with us said, and the waitress nodded before taking us back to a secluded room.

We sat down, in a fancy room, with its own bar and everything. Rhea sat across from me, the man next to her.

"This is my boyfriend." She introduced him, as I took off my glasses.

He didn't want to wait for the day, I could ever say that again.

"I cant believe your actually real." He mumbled under his breath, staring at my face like he knew me.

Where did I know him from?

"Im Alex." He held his hand out, and I took it.

"Harley." I smiled, and he nodded his head. I pulled out my phone from my pocket, and pulled down my hood.

"So, just to make sure, this is your mother?" I opened up my camera roll, and scrolled to a picture of me and my mom in the newspaper.

"That would be her." Rhea spoke sadly, pulling out her own phone and showing me on.

"I found out that I had a sister when I first met you, but I never expected to see you again." Rhea

I've learned so much about both Rhea, and Alex in the past hour. They've both struggled so much in their own lives. Their humor fit perfectly together, and honestly, I was proud to call Rhea Lee, my sister.

"Ma'am, we have a little issue." The owner walked in and looked down at me.

"Someone took a picture of you entering the diner, and now there are paparazzi here." I cringed, looking over at Rhea who didn't know what to do.

"I'm so sorry, I should've had us meet somewhere-"

"Don't blame yourself, Rhea. This is my every day." I stood up, after putting cash down on the table. I adjusted my hood and pulled it over my head. Putting the sunglasses back on my head.

"Can you escort them out of the back and to their car?" I asked the owner, giving her a pleading smile, and she nodded.

"What about you?" Rhea asked, looking over at me who was getting ready to go into a war zone.

"Don't worry about me, I've been trained for this. I'll be in contact." I hugged her, and hugged Alex before walking out of the building.

"Ace!" Multiple people shouted. I put my hand up, shielding my face, and kept my head down.

"Ace! Everyone wants to know what happened last night!"

"The people want to know if you and Jessie are going to tie the knot!"

"Ace is there going to be a new album?"

"It's in the works." I responded with a smile, feeding the press little bits of information. People were crowding me, the streets, and it was getting more difficult to walk straight.

What would Cameron Willows do?

"Ace-" And once I saw an opening, it was free range.

Daddy's girl learned fast.

My feet carried me as quick as they could down the street, probably 50 people chasing after me, as I raced to Abu's bike.

I didn't even have time to put on the helmet before I was turning the key, kicking up the kick stand and driving away.

"Ace, please give us something!" One of the paparazzi yelled, so I turned my head, and held up the middle finger.

Walking into the house, watching everyone stare at me as I did. My eyes were probably red from not sleeping, crying all night, and then riding Abu's bike without a helmet. I threw Abu's keys at him, and he caught them.

"Ace, what the hell were you thinking?" Kevin yelled, and I rolled my eyes at him.

"I don't give a shit what you have to say to me." The room was suddenly silent, and you could hear a pin drop. All of the boys looked at me, and then looked at each other with shocked expressions.

It was all his fault that he gave up on me.

"Ace- '' Kevin angrily started.

"No you listen to me, Mr. Matthews. I have gone through hell and back doing every little single thing you've asked of me. But I'm fucking done. You need me, not the other way around, so you better watch who the fuck your talking to."
