(Pray For Me By Kendrick Lamar & The Weekend)

Harley's Pov

The body guards walked with me as I walked down familiar roads. Paparazzi chased after me, but I didn't stop walking. We had four days in New York. Two free days, and two concert days. My first free day, I'm walking down a street to a house I've never been to before.

"Ace! Why did you punch Kevin Matthews?" Paparazzi screamed a million questions at me.

"Is he not letting you marry his son?"

"Is something happening behind the scenes?"

"Is Kevin Matthews in love with you?" I looked over at all of the paparazzi in disgust.

"Your all fucking disgusting! You follow me around all day, and ask me disgusting questions!" I turn towards them, the body guards pushing them out of the way.

"You create all of these rumors of your own personal pleasures and fantasies, but I am not about to be in one of those! Keep your shit to yourself!" I screamed, and pushed the camera out of my face.

The body guards stood in front of me, and I turned my heel, and continued to walk. They do not deserve my time or patience. They do not deserve any explanation from me. They followed me as I walked up to a door, and knocked on it.

"We have some company, so just unlock the door." I said as soon as I heard the footsteps approaching the door.

I heard the lock click, causing me to open the door, and slide in before locking it again.

"Jesus, you are all over the news!" Opal exclaimed, biting her nails as she paced the house.

"Ace!" Eden ran up to me and hugged me.

"Is everything ready?" I asked her, and she shook her head.

"News about Jessie cheating drops in less than two hours. News about my husband drops tomorrow, and then the first day of your show is when your month starts of finding somewhere else to go. Please tell me you have a plan." Opal rambled, taking deep breaths every here and then.

"The boys are working on it. We know exactly what we are looking for." Opal nodded her head, and looked at me with a smile.

"So, you guys know what you're doing?"

"My father didn't raise me to shy away, even if I didn't know what I was doing." I smiled at her, and her head looked up at the ceiling.

"If you don't have a way out, I do have a safety net record label. They aren't that popular, but I know that you can make them popular." Eden ran off to go do something else.

"So this is it..." I looked around at the little air bnb.

"When the divorce is settled, you will get the car."

"And when the contract with your son is finished, i will buy you a house in Florida, away from this mess."

"Ace, I don't need you to do that. I have enough money for that. You focus on making your career, your own." Her hands went to my shoulders, and the tears started falling from her eyes.

"You look so much like your father, I don't know how I never noticed." Her hands dropped to her sides, and I felt my eyes start to water.

"He would be so proud of you, Harley." Then the tears of my own fell.

"I know that he never thought you would be in the same position as him, he tried to put things in place to make sure to stop it, if you ever became a singer." I let her words sink in, and I felt my heart drop.

"He said that he would hide you guys under his thumb, if he could. So that nobody could take your spark away."

He tried to put things in place. His thumb.

"Opal- I need to go!" I spoke, gathering everything I brought.

"What? Is everything okay?" She asked quickly and I shook my head.

"I'll call you later!" I ran out of the house, and down the street. People chased after me, but I was running on pure adrenaline.

I took my phone out of my back pocket, and opened it. My breath becoming more rapid with every step.

"I'm going to the penthouse. Meet me there." I shouted into the phone at the boys before hanging up.

My feet carried me for a mile, until I ran into the building, people stopping the paparazzi and fans from entering. I ran into the elevator, clicking level 19. The doors closed, and I fumbled with my keys.

When the elevator opened, my heart was beating out of my chest as I walked towards the penthouse doors.

This is it.
