Chapter 44

Harley's Pov

I turned over, the light coming through the curtains. I felt the warm arm draped over me, i felt the body heat up against me. I groaned as I sat up, sitting on the edge of the bed. My shirt and sweatpants still hugged my body.

I should not have drank that much last night.

I put my hand on my head before rubbing my eyes, trying to wake myself up.

What time is it?

I let out a breath, grabbing my phone from the nightstand. The soft snores behind me were the only noise you could hear in the room.

3:46pm.

"Oh fuck." I said, standing up quickly.

I rushed to the bathroom connected to his room, and I put water on my face, trying to wake myself up.

"Shit. Shit. Shit." I rushed, opening up the cabinets that used to hold extra things. I grabbed a toothbrush, ripping it open, putting toothpaste on it, before brushing my teeth while I combed my hair.

I got used to doing multiple things at once while being on the bus, and always having to look presentable while being on a time crunch.

"Harley?" The morning rasp sure does still make me weak in the knees.

"Hey! Sorry I woke you!" I rushed, putting the toothbrush in the holder. I quickly tossed my hair into a bun, and rushed into his bedroom.

"Are you okay?" He asked, noticing my rushing.

"Yeah-" My phone started to ring, and I quickly rushed over to grab it. I put it on speaker as I grabbed my shoes.

"Harley where the fuck are you? We have rehearsal in 30 minutes!" Yomar spoke angrily through the phone.

"I'm on the way-" I rushed out, spraying my perfume onto my body. Thank you, Nicholas!

"You better be here, Kevin showed up. It's bad, it's really fucking bad." Yomar rushed out, and I stopped in my tracks.

"Why the fuck is he there?" I spoke angrily into the phone as I looked at Nick. I took the phone off speaker, and opened up his bedroom door.

"I have no clue. But I will not hesitate to beat his ass!" Dlo screamed in the background which caused me to laugh. I noticed all of the people staring at me, but I didn't have time to question it.

Nick rushed out of his room, changed into a different outfit, and I went to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee.

"Harley, it's bad. Your mom is here, Jessie is here. They have the whole team here." I chugged the coffee within a matter of seconds, and rushed over to the key hook.

"I'll fix it. I'll be there, and I'll fix it." I rushed around the corner, everyone staring at me as I did.

"Should we call Alan?" Yomar asked, and I stopped at the key hook grabbing my keys.

"Let me come and see what the fuck is going on, and if i need to, ill call him. But right now, i want Kevin fucking Matthews out of my god damn stadium." I angrily spoke, as I opened the front door and walked outside. The Florida sun beamed down onto my skin.

"What do we do?" Yomar asked, and I felt myself freeze up.

"I'll be there." I hung up the phone, and I closed it, unlocking the car. I rushed around to the driver's seat, and threw my things into the backseat.

"Need a hand?" The passenger door opened, and Nick slid into the passenger's seat.

"What are you doing?" I huffed, and he closed the door. I put the key into the ignition, and looked at him.

"Are you staying, or getting out?" I looked at him and he smiled.

"I'm staying, Armstrong." I put the car in drive and I started to drive.

"Text everyone where you're going. I don't want them to worry-"

"I will. They will be at your concert later. Wanna talk about what's going on, darling?" He asked as I merged onto the highway.

"I have no clue what's going on. Kevin showed up to rehearsal apparently- I need to figure this all out." I sighed after speaking.

"Once you're free, fully, I think we should talk." Nick said and I felt my heart stop.

"What happened? What did I do? If this is about randomly showing up-"

"No, Harley. I want to take you out when we're done. I want you to officially be my girlfriend again. But I want you to do everything you need to do, and then worry about me." I pulled into the parking lot, and rolled down the window.

"Miss Ace!" The security guard smiled, opening the gate, I pulled the car through and parked.

"That can be arranged." I said, looking at Nick. I leaned on the arm rest, and he leaned down and kissed me.

"You ready?" I asked, after he pulled away.

"Yeah." He breathed out, looking at me. I went to grab the keys, but he grabbed them, putting them in his pocket.

"Why were you so quick to come with me?" I asked as he grabbed my hand and we walked through the parking lot.

"I have to get used to this right?" He said, a giant smile forming on my face.

"I love you." I said, and he kissed the side of my head.

"I love you too, now who the hell are we fucking up?" He asked, causing me to laugh. I opened the door and walked inside, eyes being drawn right to me.

"Miss Ace!" One of the workers yelled in excitement causing me to smile.

"Hey! How are we feeling today? Good?! I hope we are all feeling good! We have a show to put on tonight!" I screamed with excitement and everyone cheered.

"Thank god you're here-" Dlo said, turning around the corner.

"Holy shit!" He screamed, running up to Nick and giving him a hug.

"What's up bro!" Dlo spoke with excitement before pulling away and looking at me.

"Welcome back, Nick! So good to have you back, but as you would see, there is a bit of an issue at hand." Dlo spoke really fast, as we walked through the stadium.

"Why the hell are you here! Get the fuck out!" I heard Yomar scream as we turned the corner.

"Jeez, I didn't know there were going to be snakes at tonight's concert." I said, dropping Nick's hand, and walking over to Yomar.

"Listen. I don't give a shit why you're here. I don't give a shit about anything. Take your asses out of here, we are signed to a new record." I spoke in a bored tone, causing my mother to freak out.

"There is no way you're signed to a new record that fast!" Kevin screamed, stepping closer to me.

"Back it up." Nick said, standing in front of me.

"Who the hell are you!?" Kevin yelled in Nick's face.

"Does the name Nick ring any bells?" Nick crossed his arms as Jessie took a step forward now.

"We are going back to LA tonight." Jessica said, and I shook my head.

"No they are not."
