Stop The Heartbreak

An Easy Transition

Edward just loved our noisy home right from the start and we made sure that all of the children were secure in their position in our hearts. We love each of them equally. Colleen and him were drawn to each other and they are right about twins being connected before birth.

It's been a year and we have a new addition to the family. We have been having a number of issues with Wanda Wendy Grey. She is seven and our oldest child. The other children are a bit afraid of her. But really she doesn't know how to cope with other children yet. She has red hair and green eyes and is still adjusting to our home, her siblings and the rules. Mom found her in the ER holding onto a bloody raggedy Ann and Andy doll set. She said her mother would be back to get her and handed her a note saying different. It was a notarized document giving up her and her fathers rights to Wanda Wendy Roberts.

Anastasia
When it rains it pours. We have had Wanda for six months and I am now pregnant with multiple births again. Christian is going to get that sperm shooter fixed. Plus after I have these I am not getting pregnant again. I figure if we both get fixed it will stop all baby making productions. Although we will continue to enjoy a very good sex life. I am just glad that Wanda is doing better and now she is like a mama bear to her siblings. Her therapist said that she was shuffled from place to place and never felt safe and was deeply traumatized by her own parents. The police discovered her parents bodies a week later in their house. The home was utterly destroyed looking for something. They think it was drugs. We thought we had to add more security and we were right because someone spotted Wanda and tried to grab her. Luckily she was able to defend herself and got away from her attacker. Security grabbed her attacker and had him arrested. Robert Jones Jr was trying to get her so he could find out where her parents hid the drugs and cash. It turned out they hid it in her dolls and we discovered them by running an X-ray of the dolls. We cleaned the dolls up and apparently they were waterproofed and the blood wiped off easily. So after the attack we checked the dolls. We had a long emotional talk to her about what was inside her dolls and we had to open them up. She showed us how to do it. Apparently she saw her parents do it and watched them closely. We easily did it and found things to stuff into the spaces that held the drugs and money in them. The police were present during this time along with our attorneys. It made the case against Robert Jones Jr. Center more concrete and gave a motive for him killing her parents. He won't be getting out of jail ever. He was found guilty of all charges.
Wanda sewed the dolls up and placed them in a plastic bag. We let her choose something new for her new life. A strawberry shortcake doll is what she wanted and the resemblance was uncanny to her. So we bought her the doll and clothing and a few of the doll friends.

Wanda
I am finally home, my parents have went to heaven and recently the man who killed them tried to grab me, but I learned self defense along with my other siblings. It gave my security time to grab the guy and hold him for the cops. The raggedy Ann and Andy dolls had drugs and cash sewn up inside them. A sealed bag in each doll and the outside of the doll is waterproof and stain-proofed. I really wanted a strawberry shortcake doll and her friends. So Anastasia bought me what I asked for and the Raggedy dolls went into evidence and I got them back in a plastic bag all sewn back up. I am really at home now. These people are my family and I love all of them. We don't run out of anything we have rules because they protect us. Plus they give us structure and teach us how to behave. It took a while to learn how to behave at the table but everyone helped me. Then I helped the younger children. Anastasia and Christian have truly became my mom and dad. I have one set of grandparents and they treat me like all their other grandchildren. Mom, dad don't hate me for calling someone else mom and dad please. I get to see my parents graves and bring flowers to them. Anastasia brings flowers to her parents and siblings too. We cry together and hug and go find something to make feel better. It's our time alone and we go shopping together anywhere I want. It is fun. It hit me that this her way of showing life goes on even though we cry for those who are no longer here with us. We can laugh, cry, smile and enjoy the life we have as our dead loved ones would want us to.

I watch Anastasia and Wanda as they are bringing up their shopping bags after the trip to the cemetery. They bring them in and call the other children to receive a gift they brought home for each of them. A nice gesture on Wanda's part and I am proud of her. She has brought a lot to this family and I hope our new ones are the same. Our five others follow her example. Her temper has gotten a lot better. It was bad at first and we let her get things out of her system and she finally realized that she was wasting her breath and time throwing a temper tantrum rather than telling us what the real problem was. After months of therapy we found out that she was angry at her parents for leaving her all alone in the world. It was a normal reaction.
