"She'd never get the chance to leave us. Not now, not ever." He says as he shifts till, he's able to give her a kiss on the back of her head then pulls away. "I'm too far gone, bro."

"Fuck, alright." I hear him say before he moves off the bed. "I'm going to hit the shower, let her sleep." He narrows his eyes at me. "I mean it."
