Oddly, for the first time Alex had been unable to sleep that night.

At first he didn't know why as there were no sounds, no lights left on, his night light was on, and the door was closed.

Yet, he couldn't sleep.

At first he wanted to blame the book Uni had showed him as it kept on writing itself when Alex had checked in on it periodically.

While he didn't after a while, sooner he had to blame the book even though it was too coincidental.

There was just something about it that gave Alex an uneasy feeling of nostalgia and familiarity.

It was as if the book was telling Alex someone he knew was still alive to this day.

And to make it weirder, this wasn't just any person.

It was a person who died. A person who he killed. A person who he KNEW he killed caused he slashed their back open right in front of him.

His mind was just a whirlwind of second guessing.

Did he really kill that person?

Did they somehow fake their death?

All this thinking gave Alex a migraine as he groaned and hopped out of bed for a short while.

He went down the hallway and approached the kitchen as he grabbed a glass and filled it with cold water as he took a sip and eventually drank the thing in a couple of minutes.

Alex then spent a few more minutes trying to clear his mind until he finally decided to back to his bedroom.

When he entered, instead of going straight to his he walked over to the Admin Book which he hae placed on his desk. He opened it and as expected, it continued to write itself of things Alex was just doing.

Alex was still a little freaked out about it but he got over it.

"Could she really still be alive?" Asked Alex quietly to himself.

Before he could think, he got an unexpected answer.

"Yes she is."

Alex stared at the book for a decent while. A LONG while.

"W-What?"

"She's still alive."

"AAH!"

Alex immediately panicked as he stumbled backwards and tripped on himself as he fell back and smacked his head against the bedframe.

"Ah goddammit!" Shouted the boy as he held the back of his head and hissed in pain.

"O-Oh my gosh I am so sorry! Are you okay?" Asked the book though Alex ignored the question and quickly stood up.

"Y-You can talk!?"

"Yep!"

"H-How!? What even are you!? An inanimate object!?"

"Well, yeah I guess you could say that. I'm not a normal book. I'm known as one of the Books of the World!" Said the book in an excited tone, expecting some sort of shocked reaction from Alex though the boy just gave a blank stare.

"Huh?"

"W-What kind of reaction was that!? Are you not amazed!?"

Alex continued to remained silent before sighing as he rubbed his eyes.

"I seriously need more sleep."

"Huh!? You think this is a dream!?"

The boy then began to get into bed which only upset the book even more.
