Chapter 12: The Second Clue

Exactly a week would go by since Alex's conversation with Eden as throughout the time that had passed, he kept anxiously thinking about where he'd possibly be going next.

After a couple of days he had opted to just ignore that until the week had come.

In the days that had passed he would help Rita and Kaitlyn set up decorations in his apartment room as well as visiting A.G.C. for work and whenever he had time, hanged out with Uni around the city.

Back to the present day, Alex was currently alone in his apartment as Rita and Kaitlyn had run off to do a couple of errands.

As he laid on the couch just flipping through channels on the TV, he would receive a sudden phone call as he sat up, grabbing his phone to see who it was.

"Hm? Blanc?" Said Alex as he answered the phone.

Out of all of the CPUs, Blanc was the one he got the fewest amount of calls for.

"Hello?"

"I hope I'm not inconveniencing you at the moment Alex."

"Nah you're not. What's up? Getting a call from you is rare so it must be important."

"Kind of. I was hoping if you could come do a favor for me."

"Uh, sure I don't mind but my motorcycle isn't exactly suited for winter terrain and the price for train tickers over there is a little expensive."

"Don't worry. I'll cover both expenses on your way here and back."

"Really? Thanks a ton Blanc. I'll be there as soon as possible."

The two would hang up on the phone call as Alex went to his room and changed into his winter clothing that he usually wore whenever he went to Lowee as he put on a black turtleneck sweater with a long gray coat over it alongside a black scarf, dark blue jeans, and black laced boots.

Once he finished changing, he left his apartment and headed towards the train station as he waited for a train to Lowee to arrive.

Once it did, he boarded it, quickly finding a seat as after a few minutes of waiting, the doors would close as the train began making its way towards Lowee.

As Alex stepped off the train, the first thing he was met with was the frigid cold air.

Despite what he was wearing, he was still shivering a bit as he left the train station.

Due to the winter season, Lowee was facing temperatures much colder than what they're usually accustomed to along with their usual snow fall being slightly more increased.

Thankfully it wasn't a full blown blizzard but still pretty rough for an outside like Alex.

As he went down the steps onto the ground floor, he saw that the twins Rom and Ram were there as they immediately gave him a hug.

"Did Blanc send you two to come get me?" He asked as Rom nodded.

"Yep! She told us that you were gonna stop by so we both ran over here to see you. Now come on!" Said Ram as the two girls grabbed Alex's hands and ran over to the Basilicom.

After a few minutes, the trio would enter the castle styled Basilicom as Alex would be directed straight towards Blanc's room as they all stopped at the door as Rom knocked.

"We're back." She said.

After hearing Blanc's voice from within welcome them in, they all entered Blanc's office as there was CPU typing away at her computer before turning her chair around to face Alex.
