The couch had rips and tears as furniture had been tossed around.

Alex was initially shocked but was somehow able to regain his posure as he walked ahead of Uni who had her gun at the ready in case the intruder was still there.

"Be on guard." Said Alex.

"No need to tell me twice." Said the candidate as the two looked around and carefully inspected the damages.

While Uni looked around the living room and kitchen, Alex got the hallway as he first looked inside his room which to his surprise was left rather alone and in tact.

He then went over and inspected the guest room the two girls were staying in which was in the complete opposite condition of Alex's room as their room was completely thrashed and destroyed.

"Alex."

Alex heard this and turned to see Uni approach him.

"No one in the living room. You?"

"Nothing in the rooms, though the guest room took a definite beating."

"Totally. Why would the robber target the guest room of all places?"

Out of the corner of his eye, Alex saw a note on the bed as he approached and picked it up, giving it a read.

To the owner of this apartment room,

I sincerely thank you for taking care of my right hand man and my daughter. They must've been a hassle to look after. Especially after being away for so long. Don't worry they're no longer you're concern. You're welcome.

Sincerely, Overseer of Schicksal.

After reading the note, Alex quickly had pieced together the puzzle.

Rita and Kaitlyn had been taken away, seemingly by the person who they were hiding from.

Alex then turned to face Uni.

"Okay this might sound crazy but trust me this is true." Said Alex.

"Well this oughta be good." She said.

"Well, I KINDA was housing two fugitives on the run and now they seem to have been taken away by some person known as the Overseer of Schicksal? Whatever that means."

As Alex said that, all Uni could do was just shake her head in disapprovement.

"You always end up in crao like this."

"It wasn't my intention!"

"Anyways, there's a base under the same name near the east coast. Those two fugitives are probably being held there."

"Okay good."

"Are you seriously planning to invade the place?"

"Uni. I gotta get them back. It's important." Said Alex with a determined tone.

"Alright fine. I won't stop you. However you aren't going alone. I got a friend who can provide useful backup. I gotta go. Come back safe."

"W-Wait Uni you don't gotta-!"

Before Alex could finish, Uni ran away as the boy just sighed.

Whoever Uni had in mind, Alex had no time to waste for help as he went over to his room and grabbed his sword, hooking it onto his back.

Right before he left, the Admin Book opened on its own as it spoke.

"You sure about this?"

"Absolutely. I'm not letting them go."
