Chapter 7: The Complex

The chopper would eventually land as the four unbuckled and stepped out onto an open plain as around them were numerous buildings.

"Welcome to the Secured Containment Complex. An area that houses strange and unique individuals that we've found and currently house." Said Marie.

"Unique in what way?" Asked Alex.

"That depends. You'll find out. I'm gonna bring you along for a tour." She said.

Right as she did, two guard came along awaiting orders from Marie.

"Go escort 038 I'll see her in a moment." Said Marie.

"038?" Asked Alex.

"We identify those housed here by number. I'm 001. Kaitlyn here is the 38th one, therefore she's labeled as SCC 038." Explained Marie.

As the two guards approached Kaitlyn, Rita looked at Alex as the boy seemingly caught onto what she wanted.

"Hey, Ms. Yuan? Can the maid go with her? She's her caretaker." Said Alex as Marie nodded.

With that, both Kaitlyn and Rita were escorted off as this left just Alex and Marie.

"Alright so, how's this tour gonna work?"

"Simple. I'm just gonna show you some of the individuals that we house here. After that, I'm gonna have you wait for me at the security building while I go check in on 038."

Once that was explained, they then entered a building as the two approached a door that had 001 on it.

"This here is my room. As said before my name is Marie Yuan. As for what makes me unique, I'm telepathic. I can read minds. I'm also telekinetic. Observe."

Alex saw Marie hold a hand out as suddenly his jacket was lifted and taken off of him.

"Okay okay that's enough." He said, reaching up and grabbing his jacket, putting it back on as Marie chuckled.

The two walked down the hallway passing a door that said 002.

"This here is the room of 002. Real name, Alice N. Nigel. She's my girlfriend and her quirk is that she's half scorpion. I'd introduce her but one, she isn't very friendly to new people and two, her room is modeled to exactly replicate a desert so, that's a no go."

The two resumed walking and eventually reached a door that said 004.

"Ah. This here is a friendly one." Said Marie as she knocked.

"Come in." Said a voice as the door opened.

Alex followed Marie in as he was introduced to SCC 004.
