[The Next Morning]
After introducing his mother to Kaitlyn and Rita as Alex explained their backstories to her, the boy was now taking Akari to the A.G.C. to get reacquainted to familiat faces.
Thankfully the moment Alex got there Roy and Riza were both enjoying a little peace at the moment as they sat at the bench just enjoying the other's embrace.
"Hey! Uncle Roy! Aunt Riza!" Said Alex as he walked up to them and they all shared greetings.
"Aren't you off today kid? Why're you here?"" Asked Roy.
"Well, I got someone to show you two. She's someone you two know well."
Before Roy could even speak, he was smacked hard in the face by a thrown stick as he got knocked off the bench.
"Aha! I got a strike!" Shouted Akari who was hiding behind a bush.
"That was a perfect throw you had there Akari." Said Riza with a chuckie as she got up and walked over to hug Akari as Alex kneeled by Roy who groaned in pain.
"Great. She's back." Annoyingly said Roy as he slowly got up.
"Yeah she is." Said Alex as he and Roy walked back over to the two girls who were chatting away like no time was lost between them.
"So spill already! How'd the wedding go!?" Excitedly asked Akari.
Roy sighed as Riza chuckled.
"It went amazing Akari. Everything went accroding to plan. Anyways, Its been great to see you again."
"Yeah it has. I hope Roy hasn't been doing you wrong."
"Stop acting like your my sister." Said Roy.
"Roy. I AM your sister. Well, sister in law but still."
"Oh yeah. I forgot Akari was your sister in law."
"Stop reminding me!"
Akari had an arm around Roy and lightly punched him in the shoulder.
"Aww come on! Stop being grumpy. I know your happy too see me again." Said Akari with a smile.
Roy simply refused to answer as Riza would inform and catch Akari up on what they had done.
As that was happening, Alex pulled Roy aside for a private talk.
"What's wrong? I can tell by the look on your face something's up." Asked Roy.
"I don't know or why, but my father is still alive. I saw him a week ago at the slums."
"A-Akira is still alive? Damn. This isn't good. What did he say?"
"My father wants to face me at the slums on New Year's Eve. In his words, I'm gonna finish what I started."
"I see. I'm assuming you don't want my help?"
"No. I'd appreciate but this is a fight I must handle on my own. Please though, DON'T tell my mom."
"No worries. I won't say a word."
Alex would thank Roy as the two walked back to the girls.
"There you two are. What were you talking about?" Asked Akari.
"Eh. Probably nothing important knowing Roy." Said Riza with a snicker as Akari laughed a bit.
Roy simply groaned at this remark.
"Yeah yeah you're so funny." He said.
Akari then remembered something she had to do as she grabbed Alex's hand.
