As Alex entered, he was greeted again by the families sight of the old, worn down and abandoned buildings.
Just like last time, he got a rush of memories walking along the pathways as he quickly made his way over to a specific building he knew his father would constantly frequent back then.
It was an old cathedral/church like building where his father would always hold town meetings to discuss his plans and the raid.
The building was pratically hollowed ground for Akira so Alex knew he'd definitely be there waiting for him.
Eventually, Alex would arrive and stand in front of the cathedral as he took a deep breathe and walked in.
He surveyed the area inside as he looked ahead and saw Akira sitting on the priest's chair at the podium in the middle.
Alex walked ahead and stood right in front of him.
"You're here. Splendid. I was worried that you'd chicken out like the punk you are." He said.
"Listen to me well father. Your story WILL end here."
"Oh really? Will it now?" Asked Akira in an amused tone as he sighed a little before standing up.
"Well then."
In a flash, Alex felt a gust breeze past him as Akira now stood behind him facing the other way.
"Let's see you try."
Alex gave a small smirk, slowly withdrawing his sword as Akira followed suit as a bright red beam like rod emerged from his wrist.
The two kept quiet, not making a move as they both took a deep breath.
Eventually the two would spin around attempting to strike at one another as their weapons clashed.
They stalemated for a a few seconds until Akira pushed away Alex's arm and went for a stab but Alex quickly recovered and blocked it with his sword.
Akira then jumped back and held his arms out as multiple rods were shot out towards Alex as he struck them all down and away only for Akira to jump over him, placing a hand on his shoulder as he picked him up and slammed him on his back to the ground.
The moment that happened, Alex quickly thrust his arm forward as his sword would leave a good cut on his father's cheek as he back away immediately.
Alex stood up and noticed the wound as he smirked.
"Looks like I drew first blood." He said as Akira simply wiped the blood trail away with his thumb.
"You got quick wits boy. Impressive."
The two then dashed at one another again, weapons clashing back and forth on multiple occasions as neither seem to get the edge.
Eventually during one clash, Akira would go low as he swept Alex off his feet and then immediately punched him in the gut while he was prone in the air.
The force from the attack completely knocked the wind out of Alex as the boy was sent outside the cathedral as he slid against the ground outside.
The boy used his sword to slowly help himself up as he saw Akira slowly step out of the cathedral cracking his neck.
"I'd say we're past the beginning phase." He said with the red beams coming out from both of his wrists. "Let's start for real now."
Alex saw his father get into a stance as he simply smiled response as he then got into a battle stance too.
"Yeah I agree father. Let's dance."
[Meanwhile]
Akari was sat on the living room couch, staring at her phone which read "11:30 P.M."
