Chapter 10: Uninvited

Once Alex had made it back to his apartment, he got an immediate hug from Kaitlyn and a nice greeting from the maid.

"Welcome back Alex. Kaitlyn's been waiting for you." Said Rita as Kaitlyn nodded.

"What for?"

Alex then saw Kaitlyn hold up a piece of paper as it said, "Happy Birthday!"

'Does everyone suddenly have my Uncle's number now? The hell is going on?' Thought Alex before calming down.

"It's tomorrow Kait."

"Uni told us that you'd be busy at the party you're having tomorrow so Kaitlyn felt like it'd be best for her to tell you today."

"I see. Thank you Kaitlyn. I appreciate it."

Kaitlyn had a wide smile and hugged Alex more as Rita giggled at this display.

After that, the rest of the day would go by as night time had come as Alex was on his bed sitting and looking through an old photo album of himself through the years that his aunt Riza had handed to him.

As he looked through the photos, Alex could just sigh.

"Time flies by fast doesn't it?" He said to himself before placing it away.

As he did, the admin book would opened and begin to speak.

"Growing up huh?" It said.

"Wow. You eavesdropping?" He jokingly said.

"Shut up. Anyways, I hope you have a nice party tomorrow. That Neptune girl seems like a handful."

"Trust me she is."

Alex would get into bed as he checked his phone one last time.

It was now twelve midnight.

The boy would then turn off his phone and go to bed as the admin book would speak one last time, knowing that he wasn't gonna be able to hear it.

"Good night, and happy birthday 私の息子."

[The Next Day]

Alex was currently on the phone as he had gotten happy birthday calls from Roy, Riza, and all of the CPUs.

After eating a special breakfast that Rita had prepared for him, it was now currently the afternoon as just before heading over to Planeptune, Alex had decided to drive and pay a quick visit to his mom's grave as he arrived at the spot and kneeled down.

"Today's the day. It's been six years now. I really miss you but, I know you're still here for me." Said Alex pointing to his heart. "If you were still here, you'd be giving me the greatest party ever. Keep the heavens nice mom."

Alex got up and wiped a single tear that had fallen.

Once again he heard snow crunching behind him only to see Uni this time.

"I expected you to be here. Especially today."

"I always come here. Today felt real important."

"I can tell." Uni walked up to Alex and kissed his cheek with a smile holding his hands. "Happy Birthday."

"Thank you Uni."

"No problem. Now come on. Let's ride over there."

"Couldn't you just fly instead?"

"Yeah but I wanna get there in style."

"Alright fair point."

With that, the two got onto Alex's bike as the boy drove off towards Planeptune.
