As that unsettling thought dawned in Alex's head, it slowly became a crushing reality as to what the answer was.
He had no proof to deny it.
The Kaitlyn that he was housing was a clone.
As that thought formed in Alex's head even more questions began to form.
The most important one being, was Rita aware of this fact? If she wasn't, should he tell her?
The decision of yes and no kept clashing back and forth within his head as the boy felt getting a migraine until his attention was snapped back by the book.
"So, are you gonna tell her?" She asked.
Alex pondered this over for a while before coming to a conclusion that he felt was best.
"N-No. No I can't. She's already going through alot by being a fugitive in hiding while looking after Kaitlyn. If I told her this who knows how she'd react. Hell chances are that she wouldn't even believe me. I can't tell her. No way." Said Alex as the book sighed.
"Suit yourself then. I cannot change your decision." It said before it suddenly closed itself, no longer speaking.
'Huh. Didn't know it could do that.' He thought.
For the remainder of the day, Alex would keep that information to himself as Kaitlyn would only come out of her room during lunch and dinner, still being negatively affected by the scuffle despite Rita's best efforts.
By the time nightfall came, Alex laid on his bed and hoped that everything would just blow over as he eventually went to bed.
[The Next Day]
Currently, all three had finished eating breakfast as Alex was currently watching TV while Rita was washing the dishes with Kaitlyn helping her out.
Once the two were done they walked on over to their room and after a few minutes had walked back out all dressed up in their usual clothing.
"Alex." Said Rita as the boy turned to look at them.
"Yeah what's up?" He asked.
"Me and Kaitlyn will be out for a bit. We're gonna be going for a walk to get some groceries." She said.
Alex was about to casually say yes until he remembered what kind of situation the two were in.
"Um, aren't you two supposed to be in hiding?"
"Yes."
"Are you two gonna be okay going out?" Asked Alex. "Sorry for asking. I'm just, worried."
"Alex it'll be okay I'm sure we'll be fine. Right Kaitlyn?" Asked Rita with Kaitlyn nodding in response.
"Alright then I'll take your word on it. Just make sure to stay safe. Don't stand out too much." He said.
"Understood. I appreciate your concern Alex." Said Rita as eventually the two girls left leaving Alex to tidy up his apartment.
Once he was done, Alex felt like going out himself to a place that he hadn't been to on a very long while.
After getting dressed up and having one quick check up on the Admin Book, he left the apartment.

Despite it being a long time since he had went inside the Lastation Basilicom prior to seeing Uni, it had been even longer since the last time he had left Lastation to visit another nation.
