A new year had fallen upon Gamindustri as a couple of weeks had passed after Alex fought and defeated his father Akira back at the slums.
After having spent a week in the hospital, he was eventually discharged but was told to not take on any strenuous activities for a while so his arms could properly rest back to 100%.
Currently, Alex was resting on his couch just flipping through the channels to find anything interesting.
He was home alone at the moment as Rita and Kaitlyn went out to do some shopping while his mom was out doing god knows what as Yae went along with her to keep her safe.
As he continued browsing through the TV, there was a knock on the door which confused Alex.
'Odd. My mom and Rita have a key to the place so if there's a knock then it must be someone else.' Thought the boy as he got up, walking over to the door as he grabbed the door handle and opened it as he saw who was standing on the other side.

It was a fairly tall girl with long black hair and red eyes as she wore a black and white unzipped jacket over a red shirt, jeans, and black boots.
Alex was naturally confused as to who this random girl was and why she just suddenly appeared at his front door.
The girl would then bow a bit, seemingly apologizing for something as she began to speak.
"My apologies. Am I intruding at the moment?" She asked.
"Uh, no? Not really." He said.
"Oh thank goodness."
"May I help you?"
"I just recently moved in next door so I felt like introducing myself to my neighbor."
"Oh. So you're the one who moved in?"
"Yes."
Alex remembered how prior to his encounter with his father, he had heard murmurs about his old neighbor moving out and that someone else had already claimed that room though he obviously didn't keep up with that due to his personal issues that he had to take care of.
"Then welcome to the neighborhood. My name's Alex Mustang."
"Nice to meet you Alex. My name's Akame Satsuki."
"Nice to meet you Aka-wait..............your last name is Satsuki? Huh. That's the same as my mom's."
"Oh really? Well that's a neat little coincidence."
"Yeah I guess so."
"Anyways, I feel like I've taken up enough of your time so I'll be heading back now. I hope we can get along."
Akame would bow once more before leaving back to her room as Alex waved her goodbye before closing the door.
Though it was nice to meet the new neighbor, Alex still found it rather odd on how straightforward they were in wanting to meet him.
