Chapter 12: Obstacle Course

Cindy's POV
"Attention! Everyone, may I please have your attention." Miss Luna said. Everyone was now looking at her. "Please exit the hall and go to your next activity." We all got up and went outside to the board. Obstacle course. Yay! This should be fun! "Obstacle courses are so fun yippee!" "Oh yeah that was the first activity we did." Arthur said. Normally I live a normal Tuesday but this is probably one of the funnest I've ever had! We have 5 nights at camp. Last night was a night at camp so 4 left! We had no idea where the obstacle course was though. We saw Miss Princess with her clipboard. We ran to Miss Princess. "Miss Princess, where is the obstacle course?" Coco asked. "Follow me, I have a map."  Miss Princess said. So we followed her. Artemis was giggling. I had to nudge her a bit. She tried to keep a straight face but she fell on the floor and started laughing. Miss Princess turned around. "Artemis." Miss Princess sounded annoyed. It was weird when a teacher was smaller than you, as she was a chihuahua. Instead of looking up or facing a teacher you look down. It feels not very normal, if you know what I mean. We followed miss Princess through the trees. "This place is a bit eerie Don't you think?" Glitter said. I assume she's talking to Amber. What a scaredy cat and she tries to scare people. But then again she wasn't too wrong because the tree foresty but was a bit spooky or eerie. We heard a crunch. We all looked behind us. It was just Mish and a stick in her mouth. "What?" We stoped looking at her and kept walking.
Coco's POV
Finally we could see the obstacle course we started running to there. Miss princess was struggling to keep up. But we finally got there. "Alright everyone, split up into teams, Amber will be Captain and she will choose who she wants on her team." Amber stood proudly. "I choose Glitter." Glitter walked over to Amber. "I Choose Paisley." Paisley walked over to Amber looking a little down. Paisley won't be alone, Amber has to choose one more. "I choose Akira." Seriously? All my best friends? I went with Artemis, Mishka and Cindy. "Okay Amber's team and...?" "Artemis' team." Artemis said. Looks like Artemis is captain. "Okay Amber's Team and Artemis's Team. You have to do an obstacle course. First you have to do zigzag on these blocks. Then do a high jump over this. Then try and fit under this. Now you have to do a long jump over this and then walk on these cylinders back to your team and sit. You can never and I repeat never, touch the ground. 3, 2, 1!" Artemis and Amber started to do the course. Artemis was going fast. She was ahead of Amber. I looked at Amber's line and I was versing Glitter. Amber almost fell on the cylinders while Artemis was speeding she got to us first and sat down. Amber was still on the cylinders. Cindy started to go. "Amber hurry up!" Paisley called out to her. Amber got there and sat and then Akira started to go. But we we already had a head start. Cindy was up to long jump and started running back on the cylinders. Wait, I'm next! Cindy jumped over to us and sat down. I went this time. Akira was on long jump by this point. Which means i and a head start. I did the zigzag but then I paused at the high jump. And I backed a bit and jumped over. I felt my stomach touch it but I made it over. Yay! Now I tried to fit under and then I looked behind and Glitter was doing high jump. I finally did the long jump then the cylinders. Glitter was catching up a bit. Do I jump over to my team so Mish can go? I jumped over to my team and sat down. "Is that fair?" Akira asked. Mishka started to do the obstacle course. Paisley wasn't far behind her. Mish was going to win though I know she would, she was already on cylinders. But then disaster struck, she must've been running too fast because she tripped and banged her head on the cylinder and fell. "Oh my goodness, Mishka are you okay?" Cindy ran over to her. Mish looked badly hurt. Her leg was red. We all walked over to her. Miss princess came to Mishka, "Mishka, come on let's go to the first aid together. Miss Princess helped her up." They started walking back. "She might've twisted her leg." Amber said.
