Harry: "What is this?" Harry questions again, pushing the beef with relish topping around on his plate as you look up. "Beef with a beet, red onion, and horseradish relish" you say again, watching as he makes a face before cutting off a small piece. "Where'd you get this recipe?" he asks, sniffing the beef as you continue to eat the food on your plate. "My grandmother... it's a Jewish recipe she used to make my buba for Passover Seder" you explain and he nods. "But, you're not Jewish" he says and you smile. "No, I'm not but my grandmother was. My dad married a Catholic and converted... are you going to try it or just push it around?" you ask, watching as he opens his mouth to take the smallest bite possible. "It's... good" he gulps and you sigh. Standing, you open the oven and pull another dish out before bringing it to Harry. "Here, I didn't think you'd like it" you tell him and he smiles. He eats the other meal you've prepared for him but you smile every time he tries a little piece of the beef on his plate; at least he tried it.

Louis: You had found a new recipe you wanted to try out, and knew Lou would make the perfect guinea pig. But after watching him take one bite of your experiment you knew you had blown it. You laughed as he scrunched up his face. "You don't have to eat it love," you tell him. "Good, because, damn babe." You laugh as you find the number for Chinese and order something you know he will like.

Zayn: One bite and he was searching for something to spit it out in, but knowing he couldn't. You had tried a recipe you thought he would like, but it had apparently gone very, very wrong. He tried to hide his distaste as he took a large gulp of water to wash it down. He downed the rest of it eventually before finding that recipe and tearing it up so he would never be faced with it again.

Liam: "Uh... it's what again?" Liam asks again and you sigh. "Liam, lemon mustard turkey cutlets" you say for the fifth time as you take your seat across from him. "It looks... interesting" he says, poking the cutlets as you take a bite of yours. "Do I eat it and the pasta together or separate?" he asks and you roll your eyes. "Together" you say, watching as he portions a small part out to try as you watch. "And?" you question, watching as Liam grimaces with a smile. "You eat this in the south?" he asks, spitting the cutlet out and you roll your eyes. "Yes we do... you eat the weirdest things here" you counter, pulling some lemon grilled chick cutlets from the stove to put on Liam's plate and he smiles thankfully. "I tried love but really, lemon and mustard and turkey?" Liam asks as you wash the dishes. "It's not for everyone" you assure him, thanking him for at least trying it while putting the plates away.

Niall: "It's food... I should be more excited to eat this" Niall says, pushing the pork tenderloin around on his plate as you watch him from across the glass kitchen table. "It's got what in it again?" he asks. "It's just pork tenderloin with a jalapeno peach glaze" you say, happily eating the dish your grandmother made so often back home. "And, your grandmother makes this?" Niall asks again, cutting a piece off as you nod. He grimaces, forcing himself to swallow before gulping down the coke in front of him and you sigh. You pull out a bowl of pasta you had made for this occasion and Niall smiles as you place a new plate in front of him with his pasta. "Can you ask her not to make this when we visit?" Niall asks sheepishly and you smile. "At least you tried it here and not there because she'd have made you eat it" you tell him, kissing his cheek as he helped you wash the dishes.
