He sends you things from the road

Harry: He texts you a picture every day of where he is and what is hotel looks like. He picks up little trinkets from each location before mailing them off towards you, enclosing a heartfelt letter on how much he misses you with each one. One day you find a box waiting for you at the post office of your university, inside is Harry's favorite khaki beanie.

Louis: He sends you a new piece of clothing from every place he's been. He sends you a picture of his hotel room but you giggle because at this point, they all look the same.

Liam: He sends you a picture each morning of him brushing his teeth with the flashing toothbrush you'd bought him for Christmas. You eventually find a matching toothbrush waiting for you in your university mailbox.

Niall: He sends you a video message every day as he shows you his hotel room before turning the camera on himself to smile and wave. He sends you a new snow globe from each location, a piece of paper included with lyrics to a song he's working on.

Zayn: He always sends you a voice memo of him greeting you good morning. He always sends you a picture of the crowd at the concert for the night, telling you he's searching for your face until he finds it.
