Chapter 20.

"Baby try not to over think" Adam puts his arms around my waist, I smiled, leaning my head on his chest.

"Adam how do the hunters know about us...?" I looked up at Adam, he weakly smiles.

"Well hunters knew about us for decades, they used to always hunt us for our heads or skin, it wasn't very pretty, we had war with them and we won, but that never stopped them from hunting us, they would always come back, no matter how hard we tried to stop them, but if we stay in our human forms Alice we should be safe they don't know that we are wolves, so for a few days we have to stay like this" I listened to every word, I nodded my head, gripping Adams shirt.

"Baby it's going to be ok" He puts his hands on my shoulders, looking into my eyes, he gives me a quick kiss.

He holds my hand, walking to our bedroom, I walked to the bed laying down. Adam smiles, he walks over laying beside me, he leans his head on my chest, wrapping his arms around my waist. I rubbed his head, I could feel his chest raise and fall as he breaths quietly, Adam lets out a sigh.

"What's wrong Adam?" I rubbed his head gently, he moves his head and goes near my neck, his nose just touching.

"Nothing, just annoyed about the hunters" He mumbles, letting out a big breath, I nodded.

I looked at the ceiling, all I could hear was our breathing and heart beats race. Adam sits up and kisses my forehead, he gets up.

"Babe I have too go and talk with my dad, I'll be a while" He smiles, I gave him a small smile and watched him walk out the door.

I sighed, I got up and put on my pj pants and tank top. I walked in the bathroom and I brushed my teeth and hair. I walked out and went to the living room, I saw Connor and River sitting on the couch. I walked to the couch beside them and sat down, I smiled to them, watching whatever they were. After half an hour Adam walks in, he sees me and walks over, he jumps on the couch and rests his head on my lap. I giggled and stroked his head, running my fingers through his soft hair. He closes his eyes, I smiled, looking at him as he relaxes, I looked at Connor and River and his father, they looked at us in 'aw'.

"I have never seen my son so relaxed and happy.. It's so amazing, I'm happy he has a mate like you" His father smiles softly, looking at his son with such kindness.

"Thank you" I smiled, I felt happiness fill inside me, lifting up my mood, I was so glad his dad liked me.

I continued to slowly stroke Adams head, I moved his hair out of his eyes way. He smiles opening his eyes and looking at me with a soft look. I leaned down and pecked his lips, he smiled widely, his eyes sparkle. He gets up and slides beside me, putting his arm around me, he kisses my cheek. I giggled, my cheeks heating up and going red, I smiled widely. Adam chuckles, Adam stares into my eyes, he leans in and kisses my lips, I kissed him back. He smiles and licks my bottom lip, I parted my lips and let his tongue slip in. His hand slid down my back and rested it on my lower back, his other hand rested on my knee. We stopped, we were catching our breath, Adam stands up and takes my hands pulling me up. We walked to our bedroom, Adam takes his shirt off and sits on his bed, I smiled and crawled on the bed. Adam smirks and grabs my waist, I crawled over him and kissed his lips. He playfully growls against my mouth and kisses me back, I couldn't help but giggle as he kisses across my jawline and to my neck. His grip on my waist tightens, he flips me over and continues to kiss my lips. I nibbled his bottom lip, he smiled and gets off me, he wraps his arms around me, I leaned my head on his chest. I breathed in, slowly letting it out, I shut my eyes relaxing, I dozed off into a deep sleep.
