"[Y/N]," I jumped when Bela's hand touched my lower back, and I turned to face her immediately. "...Are you alright? You've been- Well, you've been jumpy all day an-and. We're all worried about you."

"I'm fine, just- just don't touch me, okay?"

"...Alright, sure," She whispered with a slight frown. "Should I let-?"

"No! Th-they don't need to be worried," I cut her off, knowing she'd want to inform Isa and Hunter. 'I know they love and worry about me all the time, but they know about my past. They know how bad it gets — how scared I get because of the memories.'

"[Y/N], you're their girlfriend. They always worry about you."

"I'll be fine, I promise. If you promise not to tell them, I'll take tomorrow off."

"...Fine," Bela sighed, the concern in her gold eyes making my heart ache. "But if you need to talk, you know where to find me."

I nodded as she left the room I was cleaning, closing the door behind her so no one else could walk in. 'That was close,' I trembled as my hand let the handle go. 'If Isa or Hunter heard that, it would've been bad. Isa is always overly worried — they'll make themself sick from concern — and Hunter-. Well, Hunter wouldn't be as bad, but I can't look her in the eyes when she's worried. She doesn't hide her emotions, so her eyes are always full of love and concern — it's too much today.'

My legs carried me back to the window I had been cleaning, my eyes drifting toward the sky. '...A storm's coming. Great,' I frowned and sprayed the window before wiping it down. 'I just hope it won't be a powerful one — like the night I ran away.' My heart sped up when the memories tried to resurface, making me step down from the ladder and lean against the wall. '...Please stop,' Tears burned my eyes as the memories continued. 'I don't want to remember it!'

I sat down and pulled my knees to my chest, letting tears silently roll over my cheeks, soaking into my uniform. '...Firebug? Hunter? I need you.' My eyes squeezed shut as the memories continued, drowning me in wave after wave of the horrible times. 'PLEASE!' I rocked and repeatedly whispered, 'Please stop,' to my memories, praying to anyone who would listen.

"[Y/N]?!" Isa's voice broke through the memories after an hour. "My Love, where are you?! Any luck, Hunter?"

"No," Hunter sighed before sniffling. "Gods, how did we not notice something was wrong?!"

I jumped and covered my mouth, muffling the whimper that came with Hunter's outburst. 'She's never angry — why is she angry?!'

"We'll find her, Hunter. Calm-."

"Don't tell me to calm down!" Hunter hissed before a sob left her. "I was the last of the two of us to see her! I should've-! ...Why couldn't I see something was bothering her?"

"You know how she gets," Isa's voice softened. "Let's find her first, then-."

Isa stopped talking when I stood up — meaning the two were closer than I anticipated. I unlocked and opened the door, noticing the two a few doors down. Hunter slowly walked toward me, the concern and love in her eyes making me open the door wider.
