"Cass! Come here," I pouted at the vampire when she left the bathroom. "Come here."

"What is it?" The vampire giggled, walking over to me while adjusting her dress.

"...The witch, Hunter, how well do you know her?"

"I've known her for three years, dear," Cassandra smiled and kissed my cheek. "If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be as comfortable with my body as I am now. Hunter showed me how to accept myself."

"Have you ever... Fantasized about her?"

I rolled my eyes and cupped Cassandra's cheeks. "Just be truthful."

"A few times," I hummed and pulled her on top of me. "Mostly of us dating her."

"...I'll talk to her, I promise. Are you going to stay in here today or join Dani in teaching Costin how to read?"

"He exhausted me yesterday," I sighed dramatically. "Remind me never to play tag with a supernatural child being again."

"Oh, come on, his smile's adorable when you catch him!"

"Costin's adorable always," I giggled and let Cassandra go. "Tell Dani I'll join later. I want to finish this last chapter of the book she gave me anyway."

"Will do, Sunflower," Cassandra smiled and kissed my cheek after I grabbed my book. "I'll let you know if I make any progress with Hunter."

Hunter POV

"Mommy," Costin called from the bathroom, turning off the sink. "I done!"

"Come here! Let's finish getting you dressed now," I called, helping him into his shorts when he stopped in front of me. "What book will you be reading today?"

"Dino! Mama Dani, find one."

"She did? That's great news," I giggled and put his shirt on him. "Now, sit down so I can do your hair."

"Yay!" Costin giggled before grabbing his chair and sitting down, pointing at the door when it opened. "Cass!"

"Hi, Costin," Cassandra laughed as she walked into my room. "Hey, Hunter, can we talk after Costin joins Dani?"

"Sure thing," I smiled and began doing Costin's hair. "This shouldn't take too long. Where's [Y/N]?"

"Finishing their book."

"Ah, they've been engrossed in that story," I giggled. "What's it about?"

"I'm not sure, honestly," Cassandra sighed, smiling at Costin when I finished doing his hair and let him run off. "...How long until you're needed in the kitchen?"
