Chapter 9: Oh, Pretty Woman

Tae POV

I am with my best friend, and we are hanging out at our own place here at the university. But I am not in a mood. I am still thinking about Jennie and how she acted toward me awhile ago. I know that she was not on herself for those past days. She looks like she's clouded by something. I stopped thinking when I heard JK start talking to me.

JK: Are you okay, Tae? You look like you're thinking about something.

T: It's about Jennie.

After I said that BoGum and Haein looked curious about our topic.

B: What about Jennie Tae?

T: She looks like she's clouded over something.

B: You should ask her.

T: She is not like that. She didn't tell me everything.

JK: Then ask Rosé or Irene.

T: I think that's a good idea. Bogum, can you ask your sister Rosé? Maybe she knows something.

B: Hahaha, you know that we're not close. But I saw Rosé and Jennie yesterday; they are talking to the woman who stole your ID.

T: What do you mean?

B: I was at the cafeteria at that time. I think they are hanging out with that woman. It looks like that woman is annoying Jennie.

T: That woman didn't know her place at all. She messed with the wrong person.

JK: So how was the plan for her? Do you still continue it?

B: Are you sure about that Tae? I think your plan is too much. You might be put in jail if you do that.

T: Bogum, I already hired people to do that. I will not get caught.

H: Don't be cowardly, Bogummy, if we compare your family with ours; your father has many connections. Don't worry about it, Tae; we will support you no matter what happens.

T: Thank you, Haein. And by the way, I can't hang out with you this weekend. Me and Jennie will go on vacation.

JK: Did she agree? She even likes to study every weekend. Hahaha

T: She agreed already, JK.

H: Good luck, Tae. By the way, you need this on your trip.

T: What is it?

H: It's a condom. Hahaha

And they are laughing loudly.

T: Don't worry, guys. Jennie can't resist me this time.

B: That's our Tae!

I am in my last class. I am getting sleepy again, but Somi always reminds me to fight this sleepiness.

S: Lisa, you always sleep. How can you catch up on all the lessons? And you didn't even write notes. We have a long quiz on Monday.

L: Don't worry about me, Somi. You are my favorite seatmate. I will just copy your answers. Hahaha

S: Lisa, you need to be serious. We are in college. You should think about your future.

L: I have already decided my future. And mechanical engineering is my second choice now.

S: Really! You should pursue it, instead of sleeping here.

L: You're very supportive, Somi.

S: Of course you need to do what you really want to do. So what is it, Lisa?
